I probably said this before, but I could see training in heels being good for longevity. People fall and break hips because their ankles are weak. Strong ankles = greater safety! Of course I peaked at what's to come, and I'm looking forward to the heels floorwork. I love floorwork.
Yes, that’s so true. Great observation! Yes more fun to come ?
How are pole heels supposed to fit? I bought a pair of Pleaser sandals and they feel great, but there's a little bit of space between my heel and the back of the shoe. I've read that your heel should meet it exactly, but my toes line up perfectly with the front so I worry about going smaller. P.S. I appreciate all your reminders to breathe in these videos!!
For the fit on heels, it really comes down to preference. If you’re thinking you might want to try a smaller size. Put a sock on when you dance in your current size and see if it feels better for you or if it feels too tight. I prefer a bit too tight over a little loose because loose heels can cause you to twist an ankle or trip etc. Then on the flipside tight heels make your feet sore faster!! You kinda gotta pick your battles when sizes don’t fit perfectly.
That's a great tip about using the sock, I'll try that out! Whyyyyyy on earth do they not make half sizes at this point! ?
Right!? ????
