Today you'll practice the next part of my Tracing and Edge work choreo. Before that you'll work on the drills for these skills.
Pro tip: Here's a reminder with tips for learning a routine.
During the practice session:
Reinforce your mind:
Review before bed: Reviewing the steps right before sleep can help improve retention.
Visualize: Mentally run through the routine when you are not dancing.
Film yourself: Record yourself dancing and watch it back to spot mistakes and see what needs work.
Use cues: Create your own personal cues, such as snapping your fingers or saying a word, to help you remember the next step.
Say it aloud: As you practice, say the names of the steps or count the beats out loud to reinforce the connection between the verbal command and the physical movement.
Turn off your eyes: Once you've learned a sequence, try practicing it without looking at the teacher or a video to rely on your internal cues.
Allow the videos to play in order and follow along. Feel free to pause anytime you need to.
Below is a list of direct links to each full length tutorial you worked on in today's session. Remember you only need to click on these if you'd like more help or information.

I'm having a rough time with just the first part, doing the toe rotations, like my toes get stuck. I'd really have to send you video to show you what I mean. Basically I'm still trying to find a balance between upper body and dragging my toes around. I'll just keep playing with it, this stuff is hard!! I'm mostly venting here. ;)
Vent away, and if you want shoot me a video.
Thanks. :) I think mostly it's just more that my hands keep slipping even with Dry Hands. It's warm today! I keep feeling unstable and catching myself, lol. More Dry Hands needed I guess.
???
Haha, more Dry Hands did help, but I think it clicked that I have to shift my weight with my hips. That changed things a lot.
Ah!!! Good! ?
Those toe rotations are tricky!! Definitely making progress since the last lesson, but it's not quite smooth yet.
