Pole and breast size

Meleania
Ok, this has been on my mind for awhile now...does pole dancing cause small boobs? It seems like the vast majority of the competitive pole dancers ive seen have small breasts unless they are either overweight (myself included) or have implants. My boobs have gotten alot smaller over the course of losing 50 lbs, they have gone from a 40D to a (just tried on bras today) 34DD. Even though thats still a really big size, since my boobs used to be alot bigger, even at this size they still are they are starting to sag from the weight loss I would rather have perky b or c cups (which is what I had before i gained a bunch of weight) than a saggy double D. For 3 months I went without a pole, during that 3 months my boobs did not shrink AT ALL even though I still lost 20lbs in that time frame. I do a few pole sessions, and BAM my bra cup was too big, which is why i went bra shopping today. Now do the pole competitors have small boobs because pole dancing burns so much fat there is no fat on their body left to burn it from except their boobs? for example...one time my friend lost alot of weight, she lost it from everywhere but managed to keep her large breasts, but then she kept doing a ton of cardio and losing more weight and burned off all her chest she had, which was the only place left for her body to lose weight from. Or is it because of all the upper body strength that is required for pole dancing? for example...since late december i haven't had my pole That whole time my exercise was doing the elliptical (which my butt and hips shrank rapidly faster after I started using it compared to before) and an insane amount of abdominal exercises every day. My stomach has lost the most inches over the last year from doing all the sit ups and what not. So.. if my stomach shrinks from doing sit ups, and my butt/hips/thighs shrink from doing the elliptical, will my chest shrink from pole dancing?? and yes i know as i lose weight everything will get smaller but will pole exasperate the problem? NOT that I have a problem with small boobs! but if they get any smaller my boobs will be like deflated water balloons that i will need plastic surgery to fix. I dont want to feel guilty thinking that im shrinking my boobs from pole dancing..

Oh my lovely upon reading I wanted to give you a big hug!
I wish I had an answer! I'm not an extremely strong pole dancer so I can't say what happens after, but so far I haven't found my boobs shrinking at all!
I'm a 32G and I personally have found that the muscles I develop from pole dancing actually helped perk mine up!
It sounds to me like as your underbust has lost 6 inches (congrats by the way really great going [www.studioveena.com] but your cup size has stayed the same it's probably just the usual weight loss!
But whilst saying that I am expecting any second for all the really experienced dancers to come on and say "yea it does shrink your boobs" and me to get as worried as you!

each body loses weight differently. its how our genetics do it. I know w/me ive lost my bust as well (last year I was a 46f - I just had a baby and was attempting to breastfeed, currently a 42dd) Mine have perked up a bit after doing pole and chest exercises. I would like mine to be a bit smaler but they still look like two sausages after having 2 kids.

I'm no personal trainer or fitness guru but I do know that when we lose weight we can not control where we lose it. The only way I've found to alter the shape of my body when I lost weight is by weight training, but that being said....there's no weights you can lift for boobage LOL. We can work on our pectoral (chest) muscles that help with perkage but as far as inflating the balloons, there's no real solution for that.

In my personal experience and from the dancers I know, pole dancing doesn't cause boob shrinkage specifically. It does cause weight loss, which indirectly causes boob shrinkage but that's about it.

I have always been in the itty bitty titty committee so I can't really empathize with you

In my eyes you still have a pretty nice set of jugs, even after the loss of cup size

Hey there...jeeze, if I could lose a size or so, I'd be fine! Mine are getting bigger! I have heard that they don't stop growing 'till you're 25, so I've got another year to do...and I'll probably reach somewhere around a 34E. They're hard to deal with.
I've heard that your pectoral muscles (I think??) keep them up well. So, the ones in the front of the chest, that also connect over to the arms, creating your armpits. Those ones are good for that kind of thing, I think.

Also, I agree with Sissy, they're nice. Not to worry.

Dont' stop growing until you're 25!?!?! I don't want mine to be any bigger it's hard enough getting bras as it is! I hope they haven't got 5 years left of growth!!

Hehe, Sakura, I think it really depends on your heritage and your hormones. See, my hormones are insane, so they like to give me huge hips and huge breasts. I also have a farmer-family heritage, so my body thinks I should have had like, three children by now
Probably not, but that's what I think!
Honestly, though, I've heard of girls finishing their "growth" at the age of 13, whereas mine STARTED at 16, so I had a bit of a slow start. I don't think you have anything to worry about!

Ahh, ladies, I wish I could fit most DD bras! I'm pretty lucky I have someone who's been doing bras for years, so she knows exactly what she's looking for when she finds me bras. Still, I'll get a bra somewhere else, and they don't fit me at all. I'm hovering on the edge of E, and once I reach that...I'm screwed!

Lol, I'm sorry...feel like I kind of threadjacked this one!

My sister constantly complains about that. She's a 38 D and has the hardest time finding bras that don't look like something our grandma would wear. I have ittsy bittsy little A cups, so I don't have that problem, but I have noticed a distinct lack in pretty bras in the bigger sizes when I go lingerie shopping.

It's not pole dancing per se that is the reason why these women have small breasts, but if you notice, the women who compete are all very strong athletes--a lot of them are quite muscular. When you train intensively and build up muscle like that, you likely have a pretty low body fat percentage, which generally translates to smaller boobs. For instance, I've been working out since I was 14 (I'm now 23) and have always heavily emphasized strength training, particularly upper body training. (Maybe I knew I was going to get into pole one day. Heh.) Consequently, I'm pretty athletic-looking--I have pretty muscular arms for a small girl, as well as being fairly heavily muscled in the stomach. I also don't have a whole lot of body fat--I don't know the exact percentage, but I would guess it's quite a bit under average. And as you read above, I've got tittles.

Now, I may have ended up with small boobs anyway, because my mom has very small breasts, and I took after her body build, whereas my sister took after my dad's side of the family, but I'll never know for sure since I've been so active pretty much my whole life.

Take a look at female sprinters, who are all pretty muscular for women--they usually have pretty small boobs too, unless they've got implants. Same for other women athletes who are similarly built. Lots of lean muscle mass = low body fat percentage = a tendency toward smaller boobs. It's not always the case, of course, but it's pretty rare to see a really athletic/muscular women with large natural breasts.

The only place I've found I can buy bras from is bravissimo or another one i can't remember the name of but that's really expensive too! It's sad. I have a couple from ann summers but they only have two styles in bigger sizes (so you know I bought them both). Wish there was more variety for us bigger boobed ladies!

This is going to sound awful but have you looked in M&S? It's pretty much the only place I've seen bras with big cups and smaller band sizes, and some of them look decent. I'm a D cup and sometimes go there when I need a plain and reliable bra. There isn't much variety lingerie-wise in York

It doesn't sound awful at all my lovely! I have tried M&S but alas everything pretty isn't in my size. I would be fine if I just wanted plain really full cupped white bras but I'm a bit fussy lol! I order everything online now! I've just found the name of the other one it's" simply yours" x x

Hey girls if someone could give me a little bit, I would be more than happy to get mine bigger In fact I really hope they won't go any smaller because after breastfeeding my 2 boys I don't have much left (34B) and I don't want to end like an ironing board

I was already heavy chested before, But after pregnancy and breastfeeding I went up to a DD. Now that I'm back and poling though, They're shrunk back down to a D cup. I wear a 34 normally, But I buy 36 because I'm still breastfeeding and it gives me that little bit of room for expansion if the girls get too full I think it has more to with doing physical activity in general and less to do with just the pole. Your breasts store lots of fatty tissue, that's why more often than not, They're one of the first things to change when you gain or lose weight.

Try "Bravissimo" as well, they have amazing swimsuits, I love my ones from there! They have really good bras too, they just tend to be more pretty and girly and the other site have some more sexy ones. That's just my opinion of course! Hope they help my lovely. I've been through the hassle of trying to find these things before and these sites were a godsend! Otherwise I'd never have any underwear! lol x

Just a FYI, I found a wonderful site for great bras for busty (and average sized) women. It's [www.herroom.com.] My little sister wears a 32 E and was telling me how much her bras cost. I asked her about online and she said that she hadn't really looked into it. That's the best site that I found as far as price, styles, and lables. They have designer bras as well and you can search by your size and then low to high price. Free shipping if you spend $70 or more. Hope it helps!!!!

Jenny, yes...it's true. I'm living testament.

In the last 2 years, I've grown 4 cup sizes...from a D, to an F. Yep, I am now a 34 F.

The thing about bras, I've learned, is that the cup size is relative to the band size. See, most people look me up and down and go "You don't look THAT big!" There's two reasons for this: One, because I can rarely find any shirts that fit my big boobs, that also fit a small waist! So, I end up looking larger overall. And, two, because I'm a 34 around the waist, the boobs themselves don't LOOK that big, because compared to someone who is, say, a 38 or a 40 F, I'm tiny!

And, if you don't believe me, go to your local bra shop, and ask for the same cup size in two radically different band sizes...you'll see what I mean! Also, you can look up on the internet about how to measure yourself for a bra. It depends on the difference around from your bust to your waist. That't what makes your band size!

I started getting boobs at 16, I was as they say a "late bloomer" And now look at me! Sheesh! If I could share, I would. I don't really like spending $275 on two bras. Good bras, mind, but still!

I will say that I've heard a lot about women losing cup size due to their exercise, and someone once told me (I have nothing to back this up, so I don't know if it's true!) that older fat is harder for the body to metabolize. Hence, it will take the fat you put on more recently...such as puberty! Like your boobs! Mostly, that's what they are...fat. And some baby-milk-making stuff.

Oh, and special note: I've been off the birth control pill for 2 years, also. I don't know if that has anything to do with my sudden increase in boob, but I have reason to believe that it's related. It's also helped me not be depressed, and feel healthier, in general!

Hehe I hope that holds true for me!  I have two years til 25 but I am also a 32A and I don't think my boobs have grown since I was 14. :(   I've gotten snide comments about how small they are, but I'm slowly learning how to wear em (or lack of em) pretty well!  I'm a pretty petite person overall, and I don't tend to lose weight or gain weight.  I sometimes consider implants, but girls with big chests always tell me it's not worth the trouble, their backs hurt, etc.  I don't know, I think it'd be fun to have big boobs for a day and wear low-cut shirts and jump up & down.  I guess we always want what's on the other side of the fence huh?

One of my friends had DDs until she lost weight.  Her breasts got smaller and saggy but she invested in some nice pushup bras which make her boobs look perky. :)  And even if pole shrinks your boobs, you'll still have a rockin' body due to the intense workout, PLUS you'll have ninja-like pole skills!

@runemist34: yes i believe you, i worked at La Senza and different bra sizes are sometimes equivalent to another size...weird but true,

@xcandycoatedx: we always want whats on the other side of the fence as they say but at 22 im starting to have more confidence in myself( poling has helped alot ! ) and starting to accept my tiny boobs but with the magic of sexy la senza bras and a sexy shirt ive got it goin on ;) but sometimes its so easy to loose confidence because we live in a world where beauty= big boobs but we have to learn to rock what we got and show the world that small breasts also has awesome advantages and are still hot ;)

I'm a nice full pretty perky B right now.  I actually think all the stuff we do with pole helps perk them up. And I have been since age 17 about every cup size in the world. started out at an A at 17, was a B at 18 then went on BC pills and was a nice C stayed there for years got preggers at 33 became a D, breast fed 2 kids for a total of 3 years was a lovely DD stopped became a smallish B. Started pole and strength training and now have a nice full B cup (and at some times of the month spill over my b's lol) The nice full B cup actually came when I lost almost 20 lbs in the last 6 months.

I've learned to accept my boobs small size because of so many smaller chested pole dancers lol. I figure I fit in well when it comes to that. I've been an A cup for as long as I can remember, but would LOVE to be a B. That grow-til-25 theory is something I never heard, but wouldn't doubt, because I have noticed my boobs have gotten a bit bigger in the last 6 years or so (I'm 24 now, but also could have been from hormonal BC) Maybe one day I'll make it to that B!

I think seeing so many smaller-sized pole pros helped me become more confident with a chest I used to hate.

You don't lose weight in only certain areas. For ex, if you do nothing but squats, sure you may losse weight in your legs, but you will lose it everywhere else as well. Your body just loses weight in the bust more. My friend was the same way. She did the treadmill for a summer, stayed the same size all over her body, but lost a whole cup size in her chest. Her body decided that she did not need the bob padding.

Big chested girls on this site, I feel your pain!!

I developed early and fast. I was a DD by the end of high school and university bumped it up even more. Right now I'm an F or G depending on the store. Up until I got past the DD mark, bras weren't too bad but after that it turned into a total nighmare. Nothing fit right, and if it looked like it fit, by the end of the day my shoulders and back would be in a lot of pain. So I resorted to the big bras with extra thick straps and I spent a few years feeling...well, really unattractive. It's hard to feel sexy when you've got on a monster white bra that looks like it's for a grandmother.

Eventually, I started looking at places other than LaSenza or WonderBra and it got a lot better. Pretty much for anyone struggling with large bra size issues here is my advice. Sakura's got the right idea. I started looking in sex shops that supply stripper costumes and they had some ok stuff. It fit, but the quality wasn't exactly top notch. If you want really nice bras, look at european based companies. I really like Freya, Chantelle, and Fantasie but they can be pretty pricey (80-150$ each). For anyone on the coasts of Canada check out Change. They are much more reasonably priced but maybe not quite as nice (20-60$).

Work out bras are a whole other story. Chances are in a long pole workout I will probably fall out of my top at least once no matter what bra I wear. The best I can do is wear a tight-ish top that will hold whatever spills out out of view. I still haven't been able to find anything that works for me so I just use a cheap-ish Change bra so if I wreck it, I won't mind. Let me know if anyone knows of good sports bras for the large chested!

I'm a pretty strong poler and aerialist with big breasts. It's been that way since I was 12 :( Thanks genetics! I'm tiny in all other aspects though, which makes it worse (5'2" tall)

I am currently a E cup. I managed to loose a cup size with all the training I do. But even though my breasts now seem small to me, they still look big to other people.

My problem with buying bras is that I've got a very narrow back - I usually fit between 28-30 band (but that's expanding thanks to my muscles). I've had some luck buying bras at Debenhams in their sale. You can also check ebay for cheaper branded bras you'd get at bravissimo.

So in response to the original post... Yes! My boobs keep shrinking. I used to be busty and large (38d and sz 14) and now i am a 34c (sz 8) but my bras keep growing on me! I seem to be shrinking out of all my bras faster than I am shrinking out of my clothes. Different people shrink in different ways BUT there is a BIG difference between being born an A cup and becoming an A cup. I feel ya Meleania!

One major issue is that we don't see enough real breasts on real life. We are do used to pushup bras, implants, and air brushing.

I worked as s bra fitter for two years and it really helped me appreciate my breasts and body.

So many women thought their breasts didn't look right because they weren't pushed up to their neck!

If you really think your breasts are deflating and sagging, keep working your pecs and your core. While they may not affect your breast skin and tissue, it might help your breasts look "perkier." Also invest in a great bra. If you've lost a lot of tissue, then pushup may not be the way to go... Try a molded cup.

Regardless of what your breasts are doing, you're going to be hot and strong.

Hmmm I'm not sure if poling makes boobs smaller but I have deffo noticed that a lot of the competitive polers have a small bust. I just assumed it's because they are so lean from all the training. Personally, my boobs haven't shrunk from poling but I certainly have had many extended off periods when it comes to consistently poling so I'm probably not in a position to comment. I need to work out more!

I am a C-cup (UK size) and I have found taking the pill made them slightly bigger but poling hasn't changed them. Maybe with more exercise I'd drop down a cup size?!

Doesn't breast size just follow the body type? Slim girls usually have smaller breasts. You rarlely see thin or slim girls with natural big boobs. After all boobs are fat.

I have always been either skinny or slim and I have a-cups. They used to be one cup size bigger about 6 years ago but then all my other clothes were also 1 or 2 sizes sbigger.

So too me it makes alot of sense that if you have low body fat your boobs most likely dont have much fat either. In most cases at least. I have also always imagined that if i had bigger boobs they would just get in the way when poling and add more weight and make things more difficult.

And one more last thing. I hate it when people talk bad about having small boobs or having no boobs. I see this all the time on the internet on facebook, youtube videos etc. People and most often its women who do this. Someone is doing something. Dancing or whatever. Then she gets comments about that she looks like a boy, or she isn't feminine, and her boobs are like onions and such things. These things are even said about sexy and feminine women. But if theyr boob size is under C or D they are not women enough and some feel the need to express that. I disagree. Many men prefer small boobs. I see teenage girls wanting to get breast implants because they think that no one is going to want a girl with small boobs.

Ohh well. Im off topic. This is just one thing that frustrates me and something that came to my mind when reading this topic. I feel lucky that I am happy to have a small chest and wouldnt want it any other way :P

Its true that most breasts go with your body size and fat or whatever, but we have so much pressure to have big breasts because you see everywhere that whats considered beautiful and feminine is big breasts. its hard for us small breasted girl to get noticed because who is a guy going to look at, 2 girls equally beautiful but one with big breasts and one with small breasts...they one with the big breasts is going to be the one who is looked at. Of course we dont want guys to look  just at our bodies but from experience its been very hard on my self esteem.

we should start a small boobs campaign lol well actually all boobs of every shape and size is beautiful

I feel sorry for girls that have boobs bigger than a size C. When they jog, the boobs go everywhere! and everytime it bounces down again, it hurts as it pulls the skin taught.

I am a B and very happy about it =)

Like I said before. I am and have always been small chested. And I have never had any problems with that. I never try to make the look bigger and I don't want clevage. To me it would just be weird and slutty and not fit my body type.

I like smaller boobs better. But just to be clear every size is good! Dont want anyone to feel hurt. :)  I just think its so sad that so many small chested girls feel bad about themselves when they are perfect just the way they are and that they feel like they need to get implants or make their boobs look bigger.

And personally the only people I hear saying that bigger boobs are better are women. I have actually heard more guys say that they like smaller breasts better then the opposite. I have never  felt any pressure about having bigger boobs.  To me it usually just sounds like girls with big boobs are jealous that girls with small chest are hot too.

All small chested girls. Stop feeling like you are not good enough. You too are just as beautiful as anyone else and I am telling you that men think so too. ! :)

Those who only notice girls for having big boobs are probably not the type of guys that you really want to be around anyways :) And maybe the thought that guys only notice girls with bigger breastst is probably only something in your head. :) Stop feeling bad and start being proud and feel good about the way you were made :)

I personally love having small boobs; I'm an exercise nut and big breasts would just get in my way. My sister is quite busty (D cup) and always has been--she was an early bloomer and had pretty good-sized breasts already by the time she was only 9 or 10. She hates them--they're uncomfortable, she can't find nice bras in her size (not to mention, good quality bras are really expensive in that size,) and she always has to buy her tops a couple of sizes bigger than she actually is just to fit her boobs. Seems like a big hassle to me, which is why I've never even considered implants.

I know a lot of girls with small boobs are self-concious about them, but there's no reason to be; I'm a proud A cup. It's all about finding the right shirts and bras to flatter them. Plus, small boobs are generally nice and perky, and you can find lots of nice bras in smaller sizes. Also, chances are that while you're envying someone with a big ol' set of girls, they're probably envying you right back; I had a friend who used to be small-chested like me, then had two kids and now she's probably at least a DD, and she was actually jealous of my boobs and wanted smaller ones back.

I don't have an answer either but I know I LOVE my smaller breasts![www.studioveena.com] I've had two kids, breastfed both and someone had told me that it takes 3-4 years for your breasts to return to 'before children shape' which I don't think is gonna happen. I am happy where I am. I was a 34C before kids, 34D while breastfeeding and am now quite happily a 32B. I find moves easy to do because my breasts aren't in the way..and piercings look awesome on small natural boobies..imo

I don't know if poling makes your breasts smaller or not.  I disagree that they are ALL fat.  That is not true.  Some women have more actual breast tissue (not fat) than others, and this causes the difference in cup sizes.  It is genetic.  I also disagree that women have to be overweight or have a higher body fat ratio to have large breasts.  I am currently a 32DD.  I am 5-foot nothing, and 115 lbs soaking wet. my ribcage under my breast is 29 inches around, my waist is 26 inches, and my hips are 34 inches.  I wear either a 4 or 6 in clothing, depending on how the sizing runs. I am slender and in shape, especially since starting to pole dance! I have noticed that my arms, legs, and core have slimmed down and toned up, becoming more muscular, but my breasts have not changed size in the slightest.

Yes, it's VERY hard to find pretty bras in my size!! I envy girls with smaller boobs because of all the pretty bras they get to wear! I'm happy with my breasts, but I wish I could find prettier bras that aren't $40+ each!  Most of them really do look like something your great grandmother would wear.  The only brands I've been able to find that are pretty are Lunaire and Whimsy by Lunaire.  And you want a challenge?  Go try to find a bra with a 32 band.  Then try to find a 32 band with a DD cup.  THEN try to find one that's actually nice to look at.  Good luck.

@Runemist: I feel your pain.  I'm not as big as you are, but I know about shirts that fit the bust but don't fit the narrow waist, and the "but you don't look that big!" comments.  :P

And there's nothing wrong with having small boobs either. Confidence = Sexy, so rock what you've got and love yourself.  You can be super-thin, willowy and "boy shaped" and still be just as sexy and feminine as a girl with an hour-glass figure, sporting big boobs and round hips.  I repeat: LOVE YOURSELF.  And get it out of your heads that men "only like women with big breasts."  This is NOT true.  I've found that men like all kinds of things, and chances are, if he's hitting on you, he likes you just the way you are, whether you've got walnuts or grapefruits.  My boyfriend, when I met him, preferred slimmer, less curvy, smaller-breasted women.  His tastes have changed after over two years with me, but that just goes to prove that men can like things they may not even think they like!

Again, Love yourself.  And if you're on a pole, you're sexy.  You're confident enough to give this a go; don't let other people's opinions get you down.

@ miss kitty83 and lizzy7410 -- I also know how hard it is to find nice bras for a small band and big cup size!

I am a 30E and am in agreement with miss kitty.  Even when I was told I was "too thin" I was still heavy chested and had a really hard time to get stuff that would fit...

MissKitty--a 32 DD?! Oh my God--it's hard enough trying to find a 34 in an A cup--I can't imagine trying to find an even smaller band size in a DD cup!

Most girls I see with large breasts tend to be bigger, and most smaller girls tend to have smaller breasts because a lot of it does have to do with amount of body fat, however I definitely agree that genetics can play a big role; I had a friend in high school who had three sisters and all of the woman in their family had really small ribcages--she had me try on her sister's old wedding dress because she was trying to sell it and I was the smallest person she knew, and I literally could not zip it up all the way because my ribcage was too wide, and I'm not big by any stretch of the imagination. All of them had breasts that were pretty proportionate to their body size except her oldest sister, who was at least a DD if not larger from what I remember, and she was tiny--at least my size except a little smaller around the ribcage. She had a hell of a time fitting anything and always had to have her clothing altered to fit her breasts.

And seriously, what is it with girls with large breasts basically having to wear grandma bras? Do bra makers think they don't deserve nice bras like the rest of us?

Most men are not picky. If boobs are in the room AND talking to them they are thrilled. Men don't care. It's women that care. And we don't really care about anyone else, we just place ridiculous pressure on ourselves and fail to see the beauty of the grass on our side of the fence. It's kind if ridiculous. All that being said, I still wish my boobs were perkier.

Yep yep--so true. I have yet to come across a guy who won't give me the time of day because I have small breasts. Men just like boobs, end of story. My boyfriend dated a girl for a few months before me who had huge breasts--DDD's, I think, maybe bigger, and four or five months after they broke up, he downsized to an A. lol It obviously doesn't bother him--he loves my boobs because they are, well, boobs.

Look at it this way--if you have even the teeniest tiniest hint of something in the chest area that might be considered breasts, men love it. We women are the only ones who get so bent out of shape over the girls.

You're right!  I find that men are more attracted to pretty faces and overall attractiveness than boobs.  Unless everything's hanging out... then it's hard to look away haha.  I have tiny boobs but no men have complained (or they knew better not to haha!!).   If someone's boobs are too small, big, saggy, have big nipples-  take it or leave it, guys!

Unfortunately, the most criticism I've gotten about my body comes from other GIRLS.  So that can be discouraging sometimes. :(  It's annoying how the media just forces huge, perky tits on us which not everyone can get without surgery!  I actually do like my body, but I'll rejoice the day I find cleavage on myself LOL

I used to be a flat A cup, and thanks to poling im now a perky A cup... :) I usually sigh and roll my eyes when women with big breasts complaint about it. Sure I believe too big can be unconfortable but hey... women are suposed to have breasts and overall is an advantage, its much harder to look sexy and feminine with a shapeless body. And its hard to find small bras too, just last week I passed by a langerie shop and saw a pretty bra. I asked for it in my size and the girl at the store said that they didnt have or even made bras with A cup...! [www.studioveena.com] i was not happy...

we all have body image issues... I've made my peace with my breasts a long time ago but cant help wishing they were a bit bigger and its not because of men. i agree, men dont care. sure, they are biologicaly programed to notice big breasts, but thats rarely a deciding factor and they know better then to complaint about it. [www.studioveena.com] women on the other hand....ohhh. but I wont go there, I sure most A cups reading this know what i mean.

the important thing is... use your strenghts.

And I'm not against cirurgy, its an option, I've considered a few years back but could not affort it, and now there's no way I'd stay away from the pole! I agree if there is something you dont like about yourself you should try and change it, but make sure you so it for the right reasons.

@misskitty83 I'm also a 32DD and have found many cheap pretty bras...though many brands don't even make the size. Brands I've found: calvin klein, felina, natori, wacoal, le mystere, and a few more - very inexpensive at premium outlets, tj maxx, nordstrom rack, some department stores, etc. I'm talking anywhere between $5 and $35.

Agreed - there are plenty of slim women with naturally large breasts and large women with naturally small breasts, and everywhere in between. If you look for it, you'll see it's there. The cliche is true that women come in all shapes and sizes.

I'm a pretty big creep and evaluate womens breasts all the time.

Another thing I hear from men is not that they "like all sizes" but that the overall proportions are what is important. If you're a bigger gal with big boobs it looks right. If you're tiny and have small boobs it looks right. It's about proportion to them. Hence, Heidi Montag's gigantor boobs look ridic.  I wish women and men would realize the PURPOSE of breasts. To feed an infant. It don't matta if you're an A or D... if it can feed a baby then it is serving its purpose the way God intended.

Being quite large in the breast area, UK 28G, finding bras is a hassle. Thankfully Change has opened in Stockholm and they have a few, but sadly I am used to wearing badly fitting support.

I have also discovered a new problem with stretching. We do Swan rockings to prepare for chest stand and well.. I have a bump in the road so to speak. Not comfortable at all to rock over my assets and I am a bit worried about trying the chest stand :)

this thread popped into my head the other night when I was at work. Someone said about skinny girls having smaller breasts. That is not always the case my mom before I was born was 118 lbs and 5'9 and was a natural DD,  two of her sisters were smaller in height but thin and huge busted. the running joke is no one else in the family has breasts because there is only so much breast allowed per family and they got it all!

I am rubbish at numbers, or understanding explanations about numbers.
So really need help with my bra size.
Personally I would go to a place like Bravissimo and get the expert ladies there to fit you.
I have found over the years that shops are not the same standard size at all. [www.upliftedlingerie.co.uk]
I was measured as a 30G in Bravissimo, and a 32E in Marks and Sparks, all in the same week.
Bravissimo nail it for me, loads of lovely styles as well for the fuller lady.
