We are taught from an early age to be nice to others and deciplined if we aren't. Where is the disconnect in being nice to ourselves? As women we have accepted this. The filter (think strainer) for negative comments and harmful self talk has HUGE holes and the bad stuff gets through. The filter for the good compliments and positive thinking has tiny holes and next to nothing gets through. Try swapping those two. Let the filter with big holes filter the uplifting compliments and positive thinking. Let the filter with the tiny holes have the negative thoughts and self doubt. Try this for a week ... Pick something a silver car, a Waffle House, a dog/cat and every time you see that object you have to say something positive about yourself. You ladies are BEAUTIFUL!!!
I love my long legs and my boobs!:P

Wherever I go I get compliments on my arms. People always ask what I do to get them that way....yay! :)
I love my hair and my eyes. I think they make me striking looking. I also love my legs. :)

I love my eyes, hair and legs. My smile is what makes me pretty. Shhh.... Don't tell anyone that I'm sorry that I'm not sorry for admitting that. ;-p

Awww this is such an awesome idea for a thread!! <3 I love my eyes. They are predominately blue, but if you get up close you can see they are actually blue and grey with a thin hazel/golden ring around my iris :) My husband tells me he loves my eyes and is sorry that his brown eyes will win the genetics war when we have kids. :P I love my B cup boobies. If I got to pick any boobs in the world to have, I would still pick my own. For me, they are the perfect size for looks and practicality <3

:) So nice to see everyone being so positive about their own bodies! I love my shoulders, back, arms, and hair!

What a great thread! I enjoyed reading everyone's response. I love my long legs, proportions and bone structure. I also love the way I move ... especially when I'm working out / dancing .... my confidence about my physical self soars and I feel like I'm 49 going on 20 ... LOL ... Thanks for the reminder that we are all uniquely beautiful inside and out !

I like my pretty face (looks so innocent but hides the real devil inside :D), particularly my big eyes, eyebrows and mile long eye lashes. And I like my confident and seductive walk. This is fun! :D

What a great thread! I like my proportions; the shoulders to hips ratio. Also, I love my long hair and small hands, fingers and feet...oh, and my toned back! 🥂

I'm 4'9" and always wished I were taller. But being so short, I'm thankful that I am so well poportionate for my size. I love that I have a great torso to leg ration, I loooooove my shoulder area (that includes the collar bone). I love it so much that I wear shirts that have a wide opening so that it slides down one shoulder just to show it off! I also love my eyes!
I'm so glad you all have kept the spirit of the original post, which is to avoid "welllllll, I like this BUT dont like that....." and such. It's OK, it's really really OK to say "I have a great rack" and not make any apologies or cushion it with any disclaimers. I promise it's OK. 🥂

I love my legs. Born with longer legs and discovered in my life that I like dancing and am good at it. I enjoy dancing and running to music. And now I have discovered legs and those muscles are a big part of pole. This is also a huge factor in what attracts me to pole. I think everyone should love and appreciate their legs beyond their sex appeal. Legs get us from one place to another. They are our "wheels." We should know how to work them. And for some reason, when it comes to fashion, all my life, I have always been attracted to shoes! Shoes are just fun. I consider shoes part of the fun within the leg world. And for the sex appeal part....I attract men who seem to like legs and who really like my shoes. (Men just get so silly around high heels for some reason :) There's a cliche that smart men like legs. I find that to be true at times. (Although, I get my share of stupid ones too!) I know others who read this will understand. I think anyone who particpates in pole knows exactly what I mean. The legs, the shoes, the fun!
My one thing is:ME😀 I am constantly shifting who I am for the better from outside to inside. I am proud of every sq. inch and hope to only get better each year by taking great care of myself and listening to myself more😉
I wanted to note that it isn't from an esthetic way but more about really loving and appreciating myself for who I am. Ten years ago I would have said some negative things about me and it was something that I had to learn- the beauty we have from outside to inside and that it is ok to really be happy with ourselves, the real self. All of it. We are taught that it is conceided or unattractive to really love ourselves like that, but as I get older, I just really find more things about me hehe... When we are young society teaches us what is hot; in each decade it might be big lips or big boobs or even butt lifts, while at other times it is a tattooless body w/ no implants- I learned to just look at myself for what I see and I really couldn't be happier...❤️ I also used to work in the beauty field and we teach people that they need something to look better. They need hair color or waxing. The truth is that we only need to help the person feel truly special about who they are. Amplify who they really are, or bring that out. When I see retouching done now on photos, I am like ewww, it looked better in the raw version lol. I like the raw us that we are. I could go on for sooooooooooo long about this but...I'll cut it there😀
well most often im complimented on my butt and im hoping to improve my belly....however my favorite thing about my body is my hips.

Wow, this is an "empowering" thread :-) I love my - naturally long dark lashes (even though I have fair hair) boobs (I have learned to love these now that sexy underwear is available in my size!) long hair biceps (which I never had before starting my pole journey) and I will love them even more when they are stronger than they are now :-) good skin (thanks Mum & Dad!) gorgeous a*se (as it's been described in the past!) walk -I have an elegant walk - even when not walking around a pole ;-) the colour of my eyes (they are a teal colour - neither blue nor green, but somewhere in between - hey, that rhymes!)
I LOVE this thread! I never understood that whole humbleness when it comes to complimenting yourself. My doctor has even described me as narcissistic 😕 My long hair My long black eyelashes My breasts Actually my whole body! My small height My eyes My chik bones My weird flexibility.

I like my brain. I'm smart : )
OK here goes... my strong arms & back my tiny waist my dancer's feet :) these are my favorite
Ok, so I've been following this thread for a while, but today I videoed myself poling for the first time ever and was I surprised!?! For the first time in my life I can happily say I LIKE MY BUTT!!!! My waist is tiny and my legs aren't the hideous things I've always thought they were either. Yay for pole and YAY for this thread!!🥂
I LOVE how long this thread is!! Go ladies!!! I have a much healthier relationship with the mirror since starting poledancing! I love the way my boobs are big yet still firm from all that great muscle underneath, and I like the way my butt has tightened up! If I stand on tiptoes and stick my butt out a bit, I feel really sexy looking in the mirror! Thanks for starting this thread!
I think we should start another thread in relation to this one. On that thread we could post a picture that best shows off the body part or parts we've named🥂
