well im not now but i want to post because i was horribly hung over last sunday, it was awful, puking tons the next morning and horrible headache. also my ear was part def from shooting my 38 with no ear plugs. drank woodchuck cider beer and limeritas

OH MY GOD I HAVE BEEN HUNG OVER ALL DAY! Went to port of call yesterday and had a monsoon- then pina colodas... Then went out after and drank about 7 absolute and O.J.'s haven't done anything for the hangover except take 2 advils... Been miserable- and promising myself I will never drink again like I always do LOL

I told myself that last weekend and here I am again- all hungover!!! OH WELLS- We only live once... Been working my butt off and wanted to let loose ;)
ladies! Will u ever learn? If not, then ur like me. :) A few weekends ago I was so drunk, the whole night is a black out! Oddly enough, I rarely get sick anymore and feel fine the next day. Guess too much practice at drinking through the years.
well u r lucky LL!! in my 20s i drank ALOT and hangovers werent bad, now that i rarely drink, they are god awful
Friday night....was fine when I started driving home then about halfway there I could not focus. Told my husband I was not okay to drive and we did a chinese fire drill at a red light. I ended up sleeping in the car until I got too cold to stay out there any more. Was dizzy most of yesterday. Strawberry milk for breakfast and did a 5 hour because I had to go to my mom's bday party. All of my family was drinking bloody marys as they also were out the nite before and decided that it was a good idea to do shots of tequila. After a few drinks, some food and a nap I was feeling better. We had a campfire at my sister's cabin with the family and killed off 7 bottles of wine. I have found typically that day 2 takes me much more to get buzzed if I even can. Not feeling too bad today, just tired. Lyme saw pictures of a campig trip 2 weeks ago. THAT was a messed up night and a BAD next day hangover. I usually need LOTS of sugar and fluids to recoupe. I love fruit punch and can kill off an entire 2 quarts of Kool Aid in a day. Next favorite is mountain dew. Sweet tea works in a pinch too. I can definitely say that hair of the dog helps wonders. 2 weeks ago it was strawberry milk, one of the pear freezer wines (split with my husband), sweet tea with lemonade vodka, and a frozen snickers bar before I felt human again.
@ Rixi, so the moral of the story is drink more! lol.... @ Chem, lord only knows what would happen if we went floating down the river together! That was my prior "black out even", floating down a river last month....smh.....

aw I love this thread. :-) my last hangover was due to poorly timed eating (my office has no windows and I am not a structured eater!) and a one hour (ONE) open bar I wasn't even on time for. my fault for tipping the bartender 'cuz I'm pretty sure my jack and cokes didn't really have coke. then again I managed to fit in 4 of them so the night was doomed either way. I'm sure there were shots. I can never remember to count shots. I tend to get delayed-onset hangovers remedied with powerade and ramen around 5-6pm. That is unless someone can help me get some pho. :-)

Oh I had a lovely day yesterday... The night before we (all the neighbors and our family) did our ritual weekend bbq and at some point decided to play beer pong, except we thought it would be totally better to use Margaritas and lemon drops (or shot like concoctions resembling such drinks...) Instead of beer. Sigh. I woke up wearing someone else's (sp?) lingerie. O.o The awful part was I had a gig doing hair and make up for a boudoir photo shoot that I was still to drunk to go to. Blew a huge opportunity to develop my career. I called and left messages since the photographer didn't answer and left a pm on Facebook. I told the truth. I'm sure she was mad and will never extend the opportunity again. I could have come up with half a dozen excuses that would have saved my ass, but I didn't and have been mentally kicking myself all day and night. =( lesson learned.

Two years ago... I made a promise I would never ever ever drink THAT MUCH as I did that night... Half a bottle of vodka (40%, try to stay alive from that, ha), 2/3 of a bottle of wine and a bottle of champagne. In that order. Yeah. Not much to remember from that night...

The most vodka I've ever had was in the form of espresso vodka. But I can't say much about the hangover...other than being tired, the hangover is always very clean! Not sure why I don't just always have it...
My last hang over was end of June very early July. Hubby had a thursday night gig and whoopsy too many beers plus a couple shots of levit(scotch) in like a couple of hours. It didn't end well and ended up totally hung over the next morning. Puking and not a happy camper. Had to curl up by the window where the fan was for air and slept for awhile. Then had to get up and drive my niece a couple places and wanted to die. Had to go buy myself a sprite and nurse it while trying to look calm and normal while waiting for my niece. When I finally got home, I was tired and hungry. Took some medicine and waited for it to kick in, then we went and ate, and oh boy that food tasted so good. My typical hangover meal is a sprite/sierra mist and a BLT. My second hangover I ever had in my entire life was yikes. Was about 17 at a family friends Halloween party and drank everything under the sun. Mescal, wine coolers, beer. Last thing I remember is sitting in front of the fire place and then nothing after that. Will never ever drink that much again!!
Oh forgot to add, I should have had one yesterday but surprisingly didn't. Drank plenty saturday. Started with several beers, then had a few shots of whipped cream vodka with oj, so like a creamsicle. Then moved onto more beers and about 3 shots of fireball, plus somehow ended up doing a couple shots of infused rum.
oh witchess isnt having to drive somewhere the worst when ur hungover!! lol
UGH Rixi it sure is! I've been known to pull over and hang my head out the car and throw up.
me too!! the motion of the car is just too much lol
@Chem- I can't believe strawberry milk helps you!! A few years ago I thought it would help me.. Nope nope and nope. I now make a point of not having milk at all when hungover!! :O I have minimal to no hangover- even if I polish off a whole bottle of vodka, or rum.. or whiskey.... anyway- haha. AS LONG as I drink at least a litre of water before going to sleep. If, however, I get to drunk and forget this.. It's a rough day. But 9/10 times I recall, and it's ll hunky dory. :) God, I love drinking. :)

Okay, so my husband calls me a Princess drinker. I really don't drink much anymore. I get horrible migraines if I do. But if I do drink, it has to be expensive wine or expensive Champagne, thus the Princess Drinker. I do enjoy my 7&7's though! Last hangover I wound up taking codeine and going to bed. Righteous!
I don't really drink anymore, but for me the hung over feeling doesn't really go away until I can eat a normal meal and drink about a half liter of water or milk with it.
