I'm going to give it a try! I have my left side split and I'm getting close on my right. My center split sucks though - so that may be a long shot. But maybe....

I've been training for splits for 2+ years now, so I don't know if I'll get much of anywhere, but I would love to split in front of my tree in my new house. Hopefully it won't be still under construction then. I don't even have my pole put up yet :(

My fella is a sports teacher at college so I have tasked him with coming up with a routine for me for this task. We start tomorrow so I shall post my first pics. Bless him, he has to come on use for something lol! :-)
Maybe by Christmas 2013 I'll get the splits 😉

For the middle splits. I've made this thing and it does help. I also figured out that I have to tip my hips forward in the middle splits and it takes the pain out of my hips. I'm in! Although I'm not a Christmas tree girl, I do have a ficus that has lights on it all year round. LET'S DO THIS!

Haha JeHanne - I just saw your post. It's funny because we probably made the same voice when typing ;)
Well, despite my extreme busy-ness, I'm going to give this a try, too! Once the moving has happened (in like, a week and a half!) it will be a lot easier for me to pole, stretch and work out! So, pictures, and feel free to send me annoying e-mails about it!

I can only do a straddle split and I can somehow fake a front split on my left side. So my goal is to fake a split on the right side and maybe then I will be able to do jade? So yeah, I'm in.
Would anyone be interested in being my bendy buddy? :D I would love to train with someone else and keep each other updated on our progress. x

Yes, let's do bendy buddies! I'm usually available during the daytime anywhere from 7 am to 5 pm CST, but it varies (oh, retail...). How do we want to do this, teapartie?

I am SO busy this semester, not only do I have two part time jobs that equal a full time job, I took on a FULL teaching load as well! So my stretching will be few and far between but I know I will have my side split back soon. I think I am going to try for my middles but I think that is a long shot. I LOVE the idea of making ur own leg spreaders. I will be on the lookout for some crutches. And u ladies, get together and rock on!!!!!

How are you guys getting on with your stretching? I completely forgot about it this week (we're house hunting and it's all got a bit stressful!) but I'm planning on stretching 2-3 times this week and hopefully will have the motivation to put my pole up too a couple of days :)
I stretched for about 35 min today. Still a while to get my splits back and KEEP them this time! But im gonna get em if it kills me!

What we should do is post when we are doing our warm up to stretch so if someone else out there that might be ready to join in would know. That way we can do random, spontaneous "stretching jams" :)
Not a bad idea. I'll pop in when I am stretching (after my nightly shower)
