Starting a little late. But my goals are. Drink 2 bottles of water so I don't drink my calories After walking home, stretch and use foam roller Reduce eating after dinner ab exercises 3x a week strenghth exercises 2x a week. take care of forearms Reduce coffee intake, and switch out of half and half and sugar. I'm just curious how you plan to take care of your forearms. Mine are achey as a result of trying to conquer the split grip, and any suggestions on helping them out would be awesome!

I also am not a fan of the split grip, I still cant get it. What I do to work on my forearms is I get some free weights (5lbs max for now), hold the weight palm facing up. Curl them with my wrist, this is best done on a bench - somewhere you can keep your arm flat. Then I curl with my palm facing down. Ive seen a difference in my forearms from it.
So I figured I would pop in and share how I was doing towards my goals this week. In all honesty, not that great. I did well on the goals that I have been working on for a couple weeks now but my added goals were where I struggled. Which is I guess why I put them on as goals in the first place. I just can't seem to get all my water in each day and I don't know why. I also didnt succeed with my gym goal but that has more to do with my ankle getting cranky on me this week so I had to restrict exercise. Therefore I am going to continue working on just those two goals and really work to make progress on them. I have to get my water in today because my fast (for religious reasons) starts tonight until tomorrow night and I know that if I get all my water in today it makes the fast a lot easier. Either way, I am not going to stress about my goals tomorrow as no food or water for me. Hope everyone has a great day!

yay! most of my pants fit again! tight, but atleast they're on again! had a great salad w spinach, peppers, walnuts, dried cranberries, and almonds. mmm so good and filling! been drinking alot of tea and water as well. love seeing everyones updates! remember even if you mess up at 1 meal or even for a whole day, get back on track at the very next meal or day. don't let a little slip become a big slide. we cxan do this! every little step counts! 🥂

Okay so last week and this week is definately a decline on the first week of the challenge. I do have excuses (should call them reasonable reasons 😉 ) as I was not feeling well, changed jobs, went on a weekend wine tour (how do you say no? 😀 ) and had 3 days away from home for educational training. Although not as good as the first week I managed to walk to work on one day whilst away and tried to keep up my water intake (which I am definately stuggling with; how do people drink so much water). I was thinking of not posting my goals this week as I didn't do the best, but reconsidered as it is a true representation of life (ups and downs). So here is my progress http://www.goalhappy.com/trackmyfriend.aspx?id=c0a5411f-5281-4b4b-b966-e4fe28731d14 I am up to 11 push ups (Goal = 20) and the other day I did 15, mind you the last 5 were shallow but still 🥂 As for the teddy bear I can hold myself off the ground but cannot extend my legs (look like a bit of a grasshopper at the moment 😂 ) So slow and steady progress on my end. Today for the first time I headed down to the Gym and did some weights. Not many, but better than none 😉 I am finding that keeping in touch with the forum is keeping me motivated. Reading everyone's post helps to remind me why I am doing the challenge in the first place. Really looking forward to some recipes as this is where I struggle. I have difficulties thinking of what to eat and by the time I think of something it's too late, so takeaway it is 😕

Well..Its time to check in for me i guess lol.. I dont want too 😳 Its been a crazy week..birthdays left and right.. My 2 boys and my bday is in the same week lol. Huge parties and being sick on top of it all..So my diet has gone to crap this week. Still have my water intake. Haven't Worked out but here and there because i've had no energy bc i've been sick..but i have lost a pound and I didn't gain any inches, so i guess thats a good thing considering the way i've been eating the last week. But here is to this comming week 🙂

Congrats on your sticking with it ladies!!! I'm soooo proud of you guys!!! I started my intense training and have been put on a 1800 calorie diet to get down to 16% body-fat, then my trainer will re access because I may need to up it depending on how my body looks. Some people can compete with 18% or more for Figure because their definition in muscle shows really well and the point is to not look skinny and bony, but symmetrical and ripped. I will try to start posting pics, he will be taking the starting pics on Monday....I have A LOT OF WORK TO DO!!! LOL Keep it going girls!!!
well have barely been touching the pole, but have been pretty consistent w working out and eating pretty healthy. went out to my fave restaraunt last weekend and did eat ALOT of fries, 😮 but only ate 2 of 4 stuffed shells, and threw out 3 slices of pizza brought home for bf, but he didnt want it ( was so tempted to eat it, but chucked it before could give in to temptation) had water w dinner instead of the beer i wanted.. did 30 mins tone, 30mins cardio, 10mins abs, 10mins stretch and 5 flights up and down (at 12a at that! ) getting a bit bored w videos 🙄 been doing for exersise so looked this morning and found "disco abs" that looks fun. 😛 will try it tonight (30mins) and a new pilated workout that would be nice to follow it up with. doing ok w stretching. splits looking decent. still can't get into full straddle, but working on it. a bit ticked off can't find the recipes my mom gave me to share w you all. will have to look again later and have her give it to me again. think alot of people will like the chkn recipe. had a delish smoothie for breakfeast ( bluberries, vanilla yogurt, and pom juice.. yummy and v healthy! 😎 ) to get back into poling am going to try to make challenge vids sat (concert out of town fri night) am planning on doing sept challenge and maybe the "don't touch the floor" one.. well that's my update weighing and posting again friday. hope to lose, but even maintaining is better than a gain. how are you all doing? 21 days in already! ☀️ 🌸 🥂
ya baby! down from 157 to now 147 and BMI from 24.25 to 23.08! yay! 1" off waist! 🥂 🥂 🥂

Yesterday was the end of 9 weeks since I started dieting and exercising and I have lost 27lbs and over 33 inches! I'm feeling great aside from a couple broken toes (poling accident, oops)

Well done Redemptionsongs and Prncsopowr. Redemptionsongs you must tell how you broke your toes 😲 So here's where it is at at the moment.... Up to 11-12 push ups Can hold myself (sort of like a spider) in the teddy bear position....can't put out the legs straight yet. Can on and off again do the shoulder mount....mainly swing into it though rather than lifting 😢 Got over my fear with the pole handstand (accident a year ago and haven't done it since) and am now doing it 🥂 I have managed to get the flu/cold and so my poling is suffering at the moment 😢 and I have an assessment on Wednesday for couple moves 😮 heres hoping I get better before then.... Hope everyone is going well with their goals 😀

like Jodes i've been sick 🤮 it's meant my challenge has completely nose dived!! i had a pole performance last night so for the past 2 weeks all i've been managing is 3-4 pole sessions a week, usually just to go over the routine - i haven't had energy for anything else (a lot of time has been spent on the floor!), or the time - work load increasing steadily as my ability to function decreases!! So, i managed last night quite well which gave me a big boost considering how rubbish i'd been feeling. Hoping to be fully recovered and back to my challenge commitments soon - have a long day in work on tuesday (my pole class night) which will exhaust me even further and i was thinking of entering a competition on saturday but can't seem to think when i'll get time to adjust my routine to meet criteria! So, plus side? I managed a four minute routine after 2 weeks of rehearsal and 2 weeks of illness 😀 down side??? not going to write it down or vocalise it because even though some things aren't perfect right now i've proven to myself that i can do public performances and can balance work, home and social life even when I feel like a pile of poo. 🫡 i thinkit's ok to feel proud of myself today even if my tummy isn't quite so toned as it was 2 weeks ago.... 😳

OMG OMG 😮 😮 😮 😮 😮 You are not going to believe my update...... I just did the teddy bear!!!!! 🥂 🥂 🥂 Cannot believe it. Mind you my facial expression is pained and definitely not pretty but who cares. I am so ecstatic (if you couldn't tell) 😂 Wow and I still have just shy of 2 months left to perfect it 💪 Thanks everyone for doing this challenge it has motivated me to do things I didn't think were possible 👍
well love reading everyones posts. we are already a nice part of the way through it and when this 100 days ends, am starting another. i started off so good losing 10lbs and 2 inches of waist in first month, but have stalled progress not gaining, not losing.. just stuck. i did however give up smoking! i was never an actual smoker ( would NEVER buy a pack) but would share cigs w bf, or have 1 w someone if out drinking. sometimes ask for 1 if stressed. been 2 weeks and only 1 cig. also am so in love w my spinach, walnut, almond, and dried cranberries salad! sooo delish and so filling! bought a new wii boxing and dancing game. 1st time did the boxing my shoulders and traps were SCEAMING for days after. barely been on pole insince June, but am planning on making and posting a vid this weekend to get me motivated. either a dance or a practice vid. been stressed as cyst on ovary has grown quite large and doc is concerend it may be something serious so went already for 2 ultrasounds and now being sent to 3rd doc.. just have to be as healthy as i can. wish could find the recipe my mom gave me for chicken, black beans, and salsa. so delish healthy and filling. i know a part of my problem is not working out hard enough most days of the week. both jobs i sit for hrs and hrs plus drive alot. am planning on decorating pole room finally so will hopefully be more motivated to get up there. gained 2 inches on my arm and it isnt fat. my tricep area is less flabby and can now do 40 pushups in a day. i do 5 , wait 30 secs-1 min do 5 more, til 20 than redo later in day. when started couldn't do 1. also help plank for 2 mins!!! my abs hurt the next day! and did a PERFECT flagpole and sad girl drop ( don't really pole anymore, but jump on as walk by for a quick move here and there) well everyone thanks for taking this journey w me and lets commit to a being healthy for life! we can do it especially w each others suppourt, encouragement, and advice! VEENERS ROCK! 🥂 🥂

Day 50 was yesterday... Gonna try to do an exercise test tomorrow to compare to my day 1 stats... Wish me luck. So the past two weeks I've really nose-dived in my discipline. I have barely been waking up in time to get to work, much less early enough to work out and then shower before leaving. I need help 🙁 🙁 I'm gonna to try to slap myself back into this, but with the weather so much cooler it's so hard not to spend my mornings wrapped up under the covers 🙁
Dyvo- I have the same problem. Normally as soon as the alarm goes off I'm ready to roll. When it gets cooler I am the complete opposite, I want to stay under covers. I picked a song for my alarm that makes me want to dance, and keep my coat by my bedside. Its work half the time, half the time not. well have been up and down w weight and motivation, but mostly doing good. posted a sign that says " 100 day challenge for health" on my fridge. makes me think twice about my desicions. things i have found : if i have a serious craving for something, say fast food, i better let myself have a little bit of it. if i don't, i will just eat a bunch of the foods i "should" eat, and eventually will end up eating the fast food too and more than what would have. so a kids meal (burger w just ketchup, sm. fry, sm. diet soda) compared to a whopper w lg fry and shake. when do not feel like doing ANYTHING, need to either just go for a 5 min walk ( which ALWAYS turns into atleast 20mins once am moving w headphones) or do a list of exersise i can do in front of tube. (squat holds and pulses, lunges w high knee raises, plank holds, push ups, reverse crunches, and tricep dips) always try to start day of w a good breakfeast and some jumping jacks or other fast exersise that quickly raises heart rate and circulation. helps me make better desicions throughout the day DO NOT get so hungry you will eat anything!!!! EAT!!! if i go hrs and hrs wo eating i will inhale whatever junk i can quickly get into my mouth. better to carry small bag of nuts and a good quality fruit or cereal bar in purse so you arent pulling in drive thru bc your starving. if dont feel like eating breakfeast ( alot of time si just want coffee til 11a) i now put in Carnation Instant Breakfeast powder in coffee. it has more protein than an egg, more calcuim than yogurt, has minerals, calories, vitamins. and tastes so good don't need sugar or creamer.

I'll also have to look into the Carnation Instant Breakfast powder or maybe even protein powder since I do pole. It has to taste good though or else I wont drink it. I drink the Carnation Instant Breakfast all the time. I like the French Vanilla, but I have recently started drinking the milk chocolate one that has no sugar added. It is pretty good - tastes like chocolate milk 😀 and it has less calories than the french vanilla. Another way to use it is to blend it with milk and fruit in the blender for a yummy smoothie. The nutritionist I saw in college introduced me to CIB and I have used it on and off ever since.
yes i also do the no sugar added. less cals and obviously less sugar. believe it's 18g of sugar compared to 7g. LOVE the variety box. they are all so good to me. only like choclate or f vanilla in coffee though. strawberry is sooo delish in skim milk w tons of ice and a straw tastse almost as good as strawberry shake from Mcds for a small fraction of the cals/fat/sugar! YUM! 💣 DID 51 PUSH UPS AT WORK LAST NIGHT!!!! whoohoo! start of summer couldn't do 1! i do 5-10 at a time, break a min, repeat. goal was 40, but actually felt pretty easy, so went for 51! also notice 5 flights even w weights feels like about 3 now. yay! small victories eventually win the war! 🫡 🥂
