Increasing flexibility is possible for anyone, and even small improvements can lead to a better quality of life! Unfortunately there’s so much information available that choosing how to stretch, or what to focus on can be overwhelming!

Today I’m choosing the focus for you, and I choose Front splits! Did you know improving your front splits game can help improve Inverts, Hip hold/Pikes, and Superman to name a few?

If you’re using social media for training it can feel like everyone is an expert, and often the information provided is contradictory. I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 24 years now, and even I feel overwhelmed, and frustrated, at times, when trying to determine if what I’m being told falls under quality/proven information, or hype and buzz words.

The reality is, you’ll get the best results when you have taken the time to learn about your body and understand what it needs. We’re all very different, and “one size fits all” doesn’t work when it comes to stretching. Learning how to listen to your body, and then utilizing exercises and movement patterns that resonate with you as an individual is a great start!

My goal is to offer different options so you can find a good fit. Because, what worked for you when you were in your 20’s, may no longer work in your 40’s or 60’s. Below is a list of what I offer when it comes to front splits training.

Please be sure to watch each video in full and read all descriptions as they contain valuable information.

7 day Front splits class – A class like setting (long formate) where I train right along with you from start to finish. This is a good place to start if you’d like to learn how to listen to your body and get in touch with your individual needs!

30 Day flexy program – Even though this is a whole body program, if you’re very new to flexibility training, it’s a good place to start!

The Flexy warm up – A great place to start if you’re pole session will target flexy tricks, like Ballerina’s and Jades or if you’re looking for a warm up for flexibility training.

Stop the micro bend – A 20 minute routine where I workout with you. While it’s not directly targeting front splits, working on leg lines is always beneficial for splits training.

Sexy legs and abs routine – An 18 minute routine where you’ll not only lengthen, but strengthen the muscles of the lower body.

Active front splits routine – A 30 minutes long routine that can help unlock tricks like Extended Butterfly and Chopstix.

Front splits routine – This is old school stretching with a twist!

Joint Health routine for lower bodyThis 1 Hour class is suitable for anyone, but if you suffer from EDS, hyper mobility, perimenopause, menopause or have loose, tight or weak feeling joints. This video could change your life!

Last, here’s my Stretching and flexibility training section Start by watching the first video as this has important information on how to use the tutorials. This video also lists what methods of stretching you’ll be learning. All tutorials are grouped together, for example all hamstring stretches will be listed in a row.

Do you have any questions? If you’d like help figuring out a stretching plan for you, please ask.
