Today you’ll work on building strength again and practice the Caterpillar, which is an important aspect of the Shoulder mount because it allows you to safely exit and avoid smashing the collarbone into the pole! The “drills” are the strength routine for today.

Pro tip: I thought it might be helpful if I briefly explain why you’re working on the Caterpillar in a Shoulder mount program. I understand that most often people will come out of their shoulder mount onto their feet. While doing this won’t hurt you, it’s also not going to promote development of new neurological pathways to build an automatic response for using the shoulder mount as a transition into another trick.

When following a program allow the videos to play in order and follow along. Feel free to pause anytime you need to.
