The extensions should fit anywhere (aside from on the base piece) and can be attached at any point of the pole really, just make sure they are nice and tight https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif

Usually it takes a few minutes after being approved to actually show up. Did it get that far? What format of video are you trying to upload?

I had that problem when I moved one of my poles to another room, it was making a weird creaking knocking sound. I still was able to pole around on it no problems. But didnt understand what the sound was coming from. I took it down, cleaned it up, made sure all the pieces were nice and tight, then put it back up and had no problems. But I also shifted it a little over on the ceiling than where it was, so that may have been the issue too. Maybe try moving it over or to another location to see if it makes the same sounds?
I know its a pain to move it around but if the sound really bothers you then try it out. Otherwise I dont think there will be a problem. I was playing on mine for weeks before I checked it out and was completely fine. Spinning fast and inverting wasnt a problem at all…. cant be sure it will be the same for you, of course. But in MY experience it was okay. The noise is bothersome tho and really your pole shouldnt be making any noise.

https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif So sorry to hear you are getting mean comments here. That is not okay! I dont think the option to turn off ratings and such is available here, maybe bring it up as a suggestion in Friday chat or shoot Webbie or Veena a message. I think it would be a nice option…
You can always send the mean writer a message too. Most likely people doing that are unfamiliar with the supportive attitude here and are maybe too used to YouTube. Personally, if I dont have something nice to say I dont say anything at all! Wish more people would do the same sometimes….
But you are lovely and awesome ABC, dont forget that! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

CRap…this is the first challenge I REALLY want to do but my web cam just isn’t cutting it…Is there somewhere on the site where there is a listing of all the other moths challenges? It might be time for me to invest in a cheap yet decent video camera…
also what types of cameras/recorders do you guys use/like?
Yep! If you go to the Studio Veena Challenge forum there is a listing of all the prior months challenges and here is a thread about recording stuff http://www.studioveena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1419. Hope that helps! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Im with you on this one. I am almost always on spin mode so when I switch it to static it feels quite foreign to me. I always use static mode when Im learning a new trick but otherwise i dont use it. But thats just my preference.
If you really feel it is necessary for you to practice more on Static then go for it. It wont hurt any, and its always nice to perfect those spins! As far as strength training goes Im not really sure. I know spin is a bit harder as it takes more strength to control your movements while spinning (due the pull from the momentum) but other than that they are both hard. I guess it just depends on what you do in your strength training and if you can do it as stable on spin as you can on static. Im not really sure on that one https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif … hopefully others will have some more advice for you https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Welcome to the site https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif Hope you enjoy your pole! I personally have never heard of that brand but hopefully it works well for you.
Lastly, I see so many women write about pole dancing and almost defend it from the "stigma" that it still has as a men’s club thing, rather than a sport or another form of exercise. Then many of these same women wear the tiniest little outfits and the highest clear heels… which totally does no justice to their defense. What I like about the videos on this site is that you can see these (you ) are everyday women having fun and feeling good about themselves and I think THIS is what will break that stigma. So you can all pat yourselves on the back and keep doing what you’re doing… cos I’m coming along for the ride… (or the spin, whatever blows your hair back)…
Personally I dont mind if people associate my dancing with that of girls who work at a gentlemens club. I know there is a difference between pole dancing & stripping but they practically sisters. I have much respect for girls (and guys) that work in clubs. Tiny outfits are actually very practical when it comes to pole dancing, as the more skin showing, the easier it is to do tricks.. once you advance from basic spins. It is mighty hard to do a Gemini in sweatpants! lol
But glad you are enjoying the site and hope you continue to https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif

MemberAugust 29, 2009 at 3:00 am in reply to: Shoot… I wanted a Chrome pole and ordered Titanium insteadI also ordered a 45 mm because my hands are TINY, but just read on here that I may have to upgrade if I want to compete? I’ve tried to read as many posts as possible, this wasn’t an impulse buy, I just hit the wrong button!
50mm is the standard size used in clubs and competitions, 45mm is awesome tho, its great for small hands. Just depends on what your goals are for pole dancing.
Im sure Xpole will accomodate your needs if you need to make some changes. Just do it before they ship it! Otherwise it will be more of a hassel -

MemberAugust 29, 2009 at 2:58 am in reply to: Shoot… I wanted a Chrome pole and ordered Titanium insteadI have both titanuium & chrome. If you are looking for a beginner pole and starting with Static mode (which is recommended) your best bet would to go with Chrome. Titanium is great but works best in spin mode and for tricks. Chrome you really cant go wrong with tho. Either way, im sure you’ll like either one. You’ll adjust to it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Sometimes my pole is slippy, sometimes it gets really tacky. I know if Im on it too long it is super warm from my body and i stick like glue to it.
Sounds like maybe a weather issue? Try getting on it during different times of the day… maybe that will change the stickiness of it?
Definitely check out Veena’s temperamental pole article she put up (if you havent already), like Jazzy recommended. Here is the link: http://www.studioveena.com/info/2009/05/19/the-temperamental-pole/
Hope you get it figured out!

The differences Im aware of is that it is:::
Static only
It only comes in 45mm only (as opposed to the regular xpole that gives you the option of 50mm or 45mm)
Its only available in chrome.
The ceiling fixture is different than that of the regular xpole (the regular xpole ceiling fixture is wider & thicker)
All the adjusting is done at the bottom of the pole as opposed to the top
It only fits ceilings 7"4 to 9 feet. Its made by Xpole tho so I imagine its good. But for 50 dollars more you could have the spin option and get the same quality with the basic xpole. Guess it just depends on what you are looking for!
