One thing that has helped me was to just spend some time dancing near – around – by – against the pole but not do any pole tricks on the pole…really sink into your music and just let it lead you.

I love the exercise of dancing with a blind fold – although I highly suggest having someone there to supervise lol.

Also really think about how you move into a pole trick and out of it… or how you want to move into it…your "mount" and dismount"… that alone can really help make your dance unique…your own.

Hello Anna… if you just had a tummy tuck (how long post op are you now?) with ab repair you REALLY shouldn't be doing core exercises – abs are part of your core https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif you really need to wait a few weeks at least.

I know of which I speak as I had one as well as a hysterectomy. PM me if you want to talk – but please don't rush it…going back too early could undo some of the ab repair you just had done.

Let's see…I basically use SkinCeuticals in this order:

    Day:

    SkinCeuticals Cleanser

    CE Ferulic Serum (antioxident)

Phyto Corrective Gel (natural alternative to hydroquinone)

Physical UV Defense SPF 30  – sunblock

Night is the same except I switch the Phyto Corrective Gel to Intense Line Defense (a 12% Hydroxy Acid serum) and the sunscreen to Oil of Olay anti aging lotion.

when I get the occasional pimple I will apply some store bought acne gel to dry it up.

Don't wear a lot of make up…no powder or base in the winter. Maybe Mineral powder in the summer.

Lip gloss or lipstick and mascara during the day. Eyemakeup added to tht at night.

    That's it…42 and not a single wrinkle I might add 🙂

breathing helps a lot…as well as short breaks in between songs, you will eventually become stonger at it…oh and don't completely restrict carbs out of your diet 🙂

Hello…just to clarify…you are not automatically in an anaerobic state in the first 20 minutes of exercise. It highly depends on the exercise you are performing, the intensity level you are performing it at and the fitness level/endurance level of the actual individual. For example…for me on a treadmill for 20 minutes at a low incline and moderate speed this is both an aerobic and slightly anaerobic activity. I would barely hit an anaerobic state as it doesn't really push my muscles enough as my body is conditioned to it.

Also when running distance you are usually utilizing more of an aerobic state vs anaerobic…sprints are much more anaerobic. Strength training (and aerial inverts, inverts and such would fall under this) tend to be more anaerobic as well.

This explains your 10k ease vs the struggle with a few pole songs.

this site was a nice explanation of anaerobic threshold and endurance running…
