It’s good to know if you’re in the right level but you’ll be less likely to fall into a mentality of “not good enough” if you focus on yourself. Keep in mind though, that while you want to challenge yourself and impress everyone, the tricks you choose for the final comp need to be SOLID! There’s nothing more stressful than seeing someone look as though they are not in control and might fall!
It’s a good to try some performing if you haven’t just like Latin mentioned.
Here’s video with some tips for making routine. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhW5OcZoMRM
It can also be found in the Veena’s tips section if you’d like to save it here in your Favs.

I’m glad you shared this with us! The timing is good too because I touched base on the benefits of trying out the sexy side of pole in the Pole Parlour interview. The fitness side of pole is great and has health benefits, but there’s something about exploring the sensual side of yourself that is powerful and has mental benefits!!!

I’m glad you enjoyed it Duopoly!! I can say for sure theres a new program coming and I have several routines (no pole but other areas) in the works. 🙂

Yay, thanks for sharing!

If you are new to training, then make sure you have rest days between workout and pole days.
If you have been training a while, listen to your body! I lift and then pole the same day, one after the other. If you find you’re really sore or start to lack energy it’s a sure sign that you’re over training or not getting the nutrients you need.

A pole!! Just kidding. A kick as stereo because music is why I dance! I love my lights…xmas lights either strung along the ceiling, wall, or floor. I have some curtain lights I LOVE! Also if you plan on recording yourself think about the lighting in the room for that too. Light for photography work well to brighten the space if needed. As mentioned a crash mat is a must too and you can even use couch cushions in a pinch! A space heater can be nice if the room gets cold and a fan is a must if it’s hot and you sweat! I keep a container with my grip aids, rags for cleaning and a note book by the stereo. My foam roller, yoga mat and all that stuff is there too!

Yay, happy for you! Yes, smaller poles can really make a difference in feeling secure!

Hi! If your looking for planned sessions try using any of the programs here. There are 5 to choose from and give you 30 days of guidance. You can also choose to use any of the routines for your session and add a few moves you’d like to work on as well.

Oh! Gray is such a hard color to do. I’ve I nky seen it turn out if you lift the color so much it’s white first. If you don’t mind possibly having to cut damaged hair you could just try, but gray is tough.

If you’re hair has been that processed it’s best to go to a qualified stylist. 🙂

I wear s/xs depending on style. I wear xs in the one BK item I have. Not sure that’s very helpful! lol

Traveler, I’m glad to hear you’re not stressing about taking some time off. Take some time on vacation to try and stretch a bit and bring a tennis ball with so you can do some rolling on any sore spots you have!
