No you can not change the video’s thumbnail. You can change the thumbnail pic by your user name though.

I agree with you Sissy. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif I wish more of the advanced pole dancers would dance a bit more. I am NOT a dancer and will never claim to be, but I really do try to only stay on the pole in a pole routine. A lot of advanced dancers don’t really do spins either, if they do (I am guilty of this) they only do reveres grabs. This is why I don’t want pole dance in the Olympics, not because its not athletic (it IS!) BUT I would hate for pole dance, to just become pole moves. The wonderfully athletic polers are great and have some crazy stills, but its not the same, for me, when you don’t have the emotion behind the moves. One last thing, I forgot….no you can’t turn off the ratings. I never really thought that they were necessary, because everyone always gives five stars….except… for the occasional accidental low rating or when we have a member who is not familiar with what is acceptable behavior here. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
I can have webmaster just get read of the ratings if you all would prefer that….remember it only takes one low rating to bring it down below 5 stars and the site is so NOT about competition so, I would have no problem loosing that function. I don’t know what Stacey is having your do in the dvd or what ever it is. But there are many theories on stretching. As Azzwoo mentioned… if over stretched, the body tries to protected its self, that is one possibility. I think a lot of people over do it and become sore and tight, now that’s not what you want! Also our bodies will be more flexible some days than others, my guess would be hormones might play apart in that, but I"m not sure? Also we tend to be the least flexible in the morning. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif If the stretches are not performed with proper body alignment that could cause problems too. One other thing, if the stretches are done with out the body being really, really, nice and warm, you wont see the benefits and it could cause the micro trauma to your muscle tissue, that Azzwoo was talking about. Tension is good pain is bad. I would be curious to know what techniques Stacey is using. I would really recommend an X pole. My first pole was a permanent and the X pole is thicker (not diameter) but as far as the thickness of the metal. My 45 is wonderful and very robust. I was very impressed with the quality of the X…I thought for sure a permanent would be sturdier feeling. But I was wrong, the X pole is solid.
