Keep at it, you’ll be flying around the pole in no time! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Its totally normal to have more balance, flexibility and strength on one side. I have better balance and flexibility on my NON dominate side. When doing pole dance, ESPECIALLY if you doing it as your only form of strength work…you want to try and work on BOTH sides. I know its not easy, but a muscular imbalance can cause troubles like chronic aches and pains ect.. if your not strengthening both sides. Even if you can’t do the moves perfect on both sides at least try. You could also try adding strength training to your routine so you even out your muscle use. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

This is because doing the intense contract-relax method (called PNF stretching) actually causes little micro tears in the muscle (why do we want to do this again?) similar to weight training, so the upshot is, to get the most from your stretching (as for weight training) you should do it every two-three days to give your body time to recover after each session.
Yes, PNF stretching should be done by a professional who knows what their doing. As NickiLee88 said, its intense and should be treated in the same manor as strength training, with rest days to recover. Don’t do this type of stretching if your not familiar with it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif Thanks for the post NickiLee https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif -

Its very common, when your new or have stopped and started up again. To strengthen your hands and fingers you can squeeze a tennis ball or raquet ball or get one of these things….This will help your work the top part of the hand.
