The sweat pants are nice and roomy because they have a drawstring so they adjust a lot, you can wear them on your hips or waist. I wear a med. because I wanted the length I’m 5 foot 8 ish. and they are very loose fitting and sit at my hips. I wear mine all the time too. Make sure they’re really tight, but don’t strip them…if that doesn’t work then call X pole. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_profileright.gif

I sometime have pain on some of my larger stretch marks if I repeat the same mover over and over. Does it hurt every time or just when you try the move multiple times? Take a break from those moves that irritate it for now for sure….maybe Sissybuns has more info for you on this too. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

If your loosing your balance I would go for the butterfly, it doesn’t have to be the extended, just the butterfly. Then you can get your self together and move on and do a Caterpillar or something as simple as an inverted crucifix. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Good job Carrie..and lots of move making a small change can make a HUGE difference, the grip Azriel was telling you about is better for you to use too!!
LOL Azriel..I am right in the middle of editing a lessons where I talk about proper grip technique…but I don’t have a cool name for it like "magic finger" https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif love it.

I’m going to try to choreograph a routine again, it was frustrating but a challenge, and I guess I like that as much as I wined about it in the last challenge https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif I think I’ll loosely choreograph though…we’ll see. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_santa.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_santa.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_santa.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rendeer.gif

I feel that a group fitness or personal trainer certification through ACE or another reputable fitness certification service is the way to go. It will cover anatomy and give you a good foundation for understanding proper and safe body mechanics and anatomy. From what I have seen of many pole certifications, I don’t feel they give you enough for the money you spend. Once you are ACE certified, they offer a pole dance continuing ed coarse you can take, the cost is far less than any other pole certification. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

No I don’t have plans for a DVD….The down side of a dvd is you can’t possibly put as much information on it as I can in my online lessons. There is only so much space on a dvd, but I can add lessons after lesson here. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif And I plan on it. The revised lessons I’m working on right now, are just the very tiny beginning of lessons I will have to offer. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif
