    Hi everyone,
I’m a student from Nova Scotia, Canada. Just started poling this summer, and just got my own Lil Minx pole a couple months ago… loving the change in my exercise routine!

    Hi Hilary!

If you come by Montreal one day, let’s do a little pole jam together.

    Welcome to Studio Veena!

    Hi!

I’m in Moncton, NB! If you’re ever in the area, I’d love to meet up. Are you taking lessons from the studio in Halifax?

I’m not taking lessons at the moment, I started off taking half a session (4 weeks) of lessons at Unleashed Fitness and Dance in the Halifax area before I went away this summer. Then I got my own pole but I’ve been busy with school. I’m trying out a class at StudioInEssence (is this the studio you were referring to?) tomorrow night to see which level they might want to place me in and I’ll see where it goes from there.
I’m a medical student so time is limited for me and sometimes taking classes doesn’t always work – thank God for online lessons https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

(check out veena’s online lessons if you don’t have time to go to an actual studio, hers are cutting edge and teach you exactly what you need to know including what muscles you’re using for each move you’re learning!)

Hey, welcome! Runemist is from Naniamo, so there’s a fellow islander on the site! In fact, I was in your neck of the woods this past summer–Victoria and Campbell River mostly with visits to Quadra and Salt Spring Islands and Coombs to check out the goats!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Hi Hilary: I’m from Truro Nova Scotia. I’m a LPN in the Medical Day Unit at Colchester Hospital. You’ll have to look me up if you ever do a rotation in Truro. This is a great site. Very friendly and very informative. May I add you to my friend list.

    Take Care,
    Sue Rodler
