Yep! You don’t need to do all the conditioning moves each time you do your strength work…just focus on one muscle group each day you do your strength work. The muscle groups used are in order and also listed in the discriptions 🙂

Do you mean your doing a long Scorpio when you say you have no gap? Hooking the foot has nothing to do with it, that was just a habit I had and did without thinking :). Actually a basic pole hold is also a great beginner move and strength builder as well 🙂 There are many other moves suitable for new dancers too. Moves all build on each other, so learning them in an organizes order can be really helpful!

I think it’s best to use the lower calf/ankle area, then you can do this move with heels!! 🙂
