I don’t hide my pole from my kids or anyone. They are out for all to see, but if you need a pole that is removable really fast then the SV pole takes only seconds!!

AdministratorJanuary 30, 2014 at 6:47 pm in reply to: Looking for a used freestanding pole ASAP!Hi Jenn, If you’re new to pole dance I would suggest a full length floor to ceiling pole and not a stage. The stage will hinder floor work and it takes up a lot of floor space, also the “sway” is unsettling for a new dancer. A stage will cost more then just a pole will as well. I would ask if anyone is selling something other then a stage, look for X-poles and lil Mynx, these are very durable and can be mounted on vaulted ceilings when you purchase the mount for vaulted ceilings. 🙂

Sounds like your body just wants more rest, back bending leaves me feeling satisfied and are your muscles sore your the spine, hips, lower back, middle back. What is sore? Also some like the foam roller on the back but others don’t, it can also depend on how hard your roller is. I like to use a softer non ridged one for the back. If you’re holding your breath at all you may become dizzy too!

That’s up to you, flex doesn’t bother me. I have a brass 40 xpole at about 11 ft and it has flex but I use a permanent mount and it’s been great. The thinner the pole the more flex it will have too, as I said having flex doesn’t bother me.

Legs the number of pieces you’ll use will vary according to ceiling height.

Mummy, you’ll want to focus on the shoulder conditioning exercises in the lessons, these will give your shoulders a good foundation. 🙂

One thing to be aware of Mummy, flexibility without the strength to support the shoulder is not good either. So it’s good you are flexible to do this move, so now focus on conditioning the shoulders.
