Great replies every!! I’m going to repost this half of my first post so those new to the topic can see.
What do YOU guys see in your social media feeds?
Do you feel encouraged or discouraged by what you see?
Have we been too spoiled by the video clip to sit down and enjoy a dance?
How can we get everyone here to help spread the word that pole IS for EVERYONE?

Who and what do you share?
I also find it interesting that those who are newer to pole seem to follow and look up to each other. Where My friends on fb who started around the same time I did only tend to share the elite, pole star videos.

I think sharing progress is great and important.
We’ve tried to get those who create challenges to post about them here but for some reason they have no interest in sharing with us only fb and other media. I see plenty of talk when it comes to the challenges so I would thing the creators would post them here.

I was writing a reply regarding crazy tricks. Ives decided to make it new topic. I’m running out to see my niece perform in a local play then I’ll make my post.

I like to try and put a twist on ‘basic’ pole work, that’s how I come up with many of my new combos. You’ll find several ideas on my profile here and on my Instagram account. My goal when I try to come up with new idea’s isn’t to go for death deifying or crazy flexy, but maybe a new way of entering, exiting or combining moves we are familiar with.

Something that might help would be to practice as if every session is your performance. What I mean by this is when you practice, make sure you’re always fully extending, pointing toes, not rushing though movements. This way it’s second nature to do these things.

I haven’t been able to make it into chat on Fridays so everyone seems to have stopped using chat here. The chat room is still there and you can see multiple video feeds too, would be nice to see it being used again! 😊
