I just want to remind everyone that stretch marks are normal and not something to be shy about and you shouldn’t feel less sexy because of them…sooooo many people have them. I notice mine show up more when they have been “pulled” on like during some pole moves and if I sit in the hot tub with jets hitting my skin they will get big, itchy and red, but it goes away by the next day. The best thing I’ve found is to stay hydrated, mine wrinkle the most when I haven’t had enough water. The photo Allyson posted reminded me of one I had taken 🙂

Since there seems to be a lot of you who are interested I’ll do hip flexors as my next Tips video for you 💜

Ah yes, then that could be part of your problem, if you habitually stand and sit that way it’s like you’re always fighting your body! I had Lumbar Lordosis after having all those babies and It can be corrected, body awareness it a good start, but doing daily exercises is very helpful. I’m about to leave for the night, but I can give you some exercises and tips later went I have more time to explain. Actually do you have a webcam I would be happy to meet you in the chat room here after Easter! Otherwise I have FaceTime too.

Do you spend a good amount of your day sitting? If so, it’s possible that daily posture and activities, or lack there of, could be part of the issue. If you have lumbar lordosis (sticking the butt out arching the low back) when it come to posture this shortens hip flexors, and as mentioned sitting will shorten them as well. So you may be doing all the right stretches but only end up maintaining (if that) when you have daily habitual activities that shorten the flexors. Just a thought.

We will not be there by May.

Leen, welcome back! Please feel free to share your work here, not everyone on SV has a Facebook account. 💜

Even poles of the same finish will grip differently depending on environment a chrome pole at home may not work for you, grip wise, as a chrome pole in studio. I suggest people go with a home pole that they feel they’ll have the most secure and consistent grip on.
I use many finishes and do not have troubles switching, I think it’s a good idea to have opportunities to use more then one finish.

Is it just your hands or do you have grip issues all over? I’m not a big fan of always using grip aid but this mix really helps me with chrome poles or very cold poles in winter. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jgvvc2uvcFw

If you go to their website you’ll want to look for the one piece tension mounted pole. I don’t remember off hand what they call it.

Thank you for sharing 😉

That would be great if you’d like. We’ll be coming through during July, no exact dates yet 😀

You still need skin contact 😀

OMG! Wow, thank you for sharing this!!!!

Minneapolis will be a stop for sure since most of our friends are there. Not sure if there are any studios that are interested in workshops, we’ll have to see.

Hi welcome to the site, you’ve come to the right place for guidance! Here is the video with a short explanation of the 30 day take off. This program is included in the lessons when you purchase them, in addition to the program everything is placed in order as other mentioned before. 🙂

Twerkshop wouldn’t that be fun!!

I would start with conditioning and strength before jumping back into things. You’ll want to be sure you’ve worked on these things before going back to what you were doing also I would avoid any Forward Lateral 1 hand spins for a while. But it’s not like you have to only do beginner work for months, just be sure to listen to your body and do whatever the DR suggested.

Lightinwolf, Our first part of our travels will be through CA, however we are headed over there to see my newest little niece, (we haven’t seen her yet!) before we head towards North Dakota to see more family. It will be a fast trip through CA and to up to San Fran. If you know of a studio that would be interested in a workshop let me know and I can see if it would work into our schedule.
Allyson, from what I understand many times you have to pay a fee to use parks for workout gatherings. So yes, studios are the best option so I don’t end up with a fine!!
