As a personal trainer myself, I know it was always my goal to help clients meet whatever needs they had as far as working around other physical interests or working to improve on an interest. A good trainer can help you plan workouts so you don’t over do it with all the other things you seem to enjoy in addition to pole.

Hello and welcome! Regardless of physical shape or size pole dance can enhance your life and improve your strength, flexibility and add some sexy fun, if you like! So you’ve come to the right place!! The lessons here accommodate very beginners with zero experience to very advanced. As mentioned everything is place in a progressive order in each section and you will have access to my 30 day take off program that builds strength, flexibility and allows you to become familiar with your pole!
Runemist had some great advice on poles. There are a LOT of options so I suggest a 45mm Chrome pole, if you go with static you’ll save the most money. I personally also like powder coated poles.
Here’s an intro to the program. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4KzMIIbZH0

Oh, this lesson also has an interesting spinning dismount, shown in the first Jallegra option. https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/55689a67-3fd8-47d5-9f26-5ce10a9aa0eb

Have you tried the spin out I show in the lesson? I know I’ve done a few different options before too like pike to superman for example.

It must be canceled before the 30 days and you will still have a full 30 days access no matter when you cancel.

There are different pricing options for subscriptions or a 1 yrs option, which offers the most savings in the long run. There should be a pricing link at the top of the site rush more info.

I tell you exactly what to work on for 30 days. I even tell you when to rest, stretch and condition. Here’s a look at the program. Oh, and keep in mind all programs and routines are included in any lesson package you buy. 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4KzMIIbZH0&index=26&list=PLyXWQXP3dueofybLatPPuLCbvfSPF2oSF

Hi and welcome!
I was a fast learner as well as I had also been lifting for years before finding pole. Since you feel tricks are physically reasonable to do, then I would suggest some conditioning. I know that for myself when I lifted, I didn’t target a lot of the smaller muscles that are important stabilizers when doing many pole moves. There’s a bunch in the conditioning section, I still do almost all of these even now! Remember unlike training for muscle growth were you lift heavy and use lower reps (at times at least) conditioning is about lower resistance and higher reps.
I also suggest making sure to go through the lessons in order so you develop the fundamentals. I see a lot of strong dancers skip these and I can tell when they dance, transitions get sloppy and they muscle moves. The lessons here are a progression so even if they seem easy take time to work on things like pole sits, holds and climbs. Watching all of the getting started lessons (first lesson in each section) will give you an idea on how to structure your pole sessions as well. Remember rest is super important!
PS I love watching bellydance and have done a TINY bit myself so feel free to share any videos with us, we like all kinds of dance here!

Ok great!! It’s super common to not be able to hold the body up so don’t stress about that, it will come!

My “dismissing attitude” is not over racism but the ARTICLE. The timing of the article seemed like a ploy to get people rilled up drawing attention to the BK blog over the halloween season. Which of course will sell costumes. The over all tone of the article was not caring or encouraging others to learn more about each others culture, but rather accusatory. It was written in a way that made it sound as if this was a raging issue among pole dancers.
I’ve not seen anyone making videos on here or creating routines for competitions where they have used costuming in an offensive way. Maybe is it an issue that I have not come across yet, but it’s not happening in videos I’ve seen. Had I been seeing many dancers choosing costumes that may offend that would be a different story, and we would need to get the word out for sure! I just haven’t seen these offenders.
I don’t see any REGULAR members being hateful or racist in anyway, the hate is coming from outside our SV community. I see members who are upset over the tone of an article….and it seems wrong to use such a powerful thing like racism to sell costumes.
