I literally just finished doing a periscope where I set up the A frame for the first time in over a year! It was a learning experience lol Here’s the broadcast if you’re interested. https://www.periscope.tv/w/aZykyjFQWEtkb1lEQlpRZXZ8MUx5eEJ6eUJ3UFl4TrudAb8NXyZ9SAe3QJVSr3R7j-Wkm35GVwamgZkWKFOg

Are you holding your breath? Also, a bridge does require a ton of effort when you’re first learning, so it could just be the amount of effort you’re putting into it. Do you get the same sensation when doing camel or other back bending poses?

If you’re feeling so down that you can’t function you need to contact a professional. It can help to hear what worked for someone else so keeping comments to what worked for you is most helpful. When you’ve dealt with something personally it’s bound to get a little heated when discussing. Thank you all for caring enough to respond to someone you’ve never even met! That’s awesome!

On a side note, there are studies that claim creative people (like us) tend to deal more with depression and anxiety. It’s super common with those who enjoy expressing themselves through dance!

Yep, they’re right! You’ll want to think about what the climate is like where you live and how much you sweat. However, every pole finish is workable with a good warm up and the right grip aid for your body and situation. If you can choose a finish that doesn’t require grip aids it will make poling less of a hassle, some people need them regardless tho, for example if they sweat a lot.

I’m so sorry to hear this, I deal with this as well. If it’s coming to this point please contact a professional to talk with. There are hot lines you can call free.

One thing that helps me is to exercise and stay off the computer (if you tend to just brows) avoid social media and tv. Existing by watching other people’s lives can be detrimental to our mental health and it wastes our time!!! It can feel like an impossible task to just get up and motivated to do anything (you can have physical pain when dealing with depression) but if I can just get moving that helps. I also know for myself I have low times durning different times of the month so I have been aware of this and it helps me deal and prepare myself! Eating well can play a big part for me too! I’m so happy you feel you can reach out to us so know you’re not alone 💜

Yay that’s great news! Stay consistent with the exercises and you should see good results. Phone watching and posture are big issues for people and it’s not uncommon for even people who workout to have a weak area.

I did a lollipop hour ambient performance…exhausting! 30 is still very long and I would see if they are ok with 10 or 15 on then 10 or 15 off and then on again. This is pretty typical for ambient performing, but if they are looking for full on choreographed dances only ONE song is reasonable. Best thing to remember move slowly so things like climbs and sits take up time lol

Hi! First suggestion and tip check out the lessons here 💜

I have an A-frame so here ya go.

1-Length of the top bar? 55in

2-weather proof? Material? Not weather proof. Several materials, including chrome.

3-total weight of the set? Max baring/loading weight? Haven’t wreighed it. It’s rated up to 330 lbs.

4-Footprints ( from shortest setting to tallest setting) There are multiple heights. From about 7 ft to 11ft

5-I am 4’11″/151cm, 95lb/43 kg, can I do full split on Lrya without my legs hitting the frame? My feet touch I’m just under 5′ 8″ I don’t think you would touch when in split.

6-Rubber sold under the footings? Yes

7-Wobbly??? Do sand bags helps? Moves a bit as I would expect from a portable freestanding frame. Yes, use the sand bags of you are doing anything with a lot of motion. I can do very gentle swings with my hammock and it’s been fine.

    Hope that helps!
