I’ve got the PC xpole, in black, it’s nice, but the finish is a bit different from my PC lil mynx SV pole. If you like PC and want a fast assembly then go with the xpole. I don’t know anything about the fit pole.
Honestly the pole that is right for you is the one that fits your budget!!!!! You can work with any finish with the right grip aids.

AdministratorJuly 1, 2016 at 3:25 pm in reply to: Carpal Tunnel Release surgery post operation and Pole DanceTry not as freak, just as everyone mentioned. I’m not familiar with this type of surgery so I can’t give any thoughts on that. I would say to contact your dr and surgeon so you can talk with them. You’ll want to be honest about your concerns, even though they may not “get” how important pole is to you they can at least let you know that what you’ve been reading isn’t common. The body has an amazing ability to overcome, so never forget that.

Hi, I don’t know anything about there certs but while you decide you can always take a look at this teacher training course. https://www.studioveena.com/methods/letter

Suzanna’s goal is a great idea, I love it! I do have one suggestion to modify it to keep everyone moving forward. The goal of however many of something every day is nice, but over time it can wear the body down and you end up with an injury, slowing progress to a stop! Not what we want. I always suggest giving whatever muscle group you used the day before a rest the next day. This allows for faster progress because you reduce the risk of injury and most bodies respond really well to having rest. Rest is when the body repairs so it’s equally important to allow the body to have a break. The Invert program and all of my programs are designed in a way that allows you to recover and repair.

HI you’ll find a bunch in the lessons here, they’re sprinkled through out the Beginner – advanced do to level of difficulty, I believe there are one or two in the Quick lessons too. If you’re looking for a routine try the sexy legs and ab routine. All of the move in there will help you strengthen and stretch for easier and more fluid floor work. You might want to check out the Chair lessons too if you have floor space, there are some fun routines for chair too!

There are no classes where we live but my youngest has used my lessons! He really likes dancing and pole, over this summer he’s worked out with me a few times. I wouldn’t put a child in an adult class though because kids usually need more stimulation to keep them from getting bored. It should be made fun and paced in a way that keeps them safe but excited about it! 😊

Yes, stretch and strengthen the shoulder, if you ever feel any strain or twinges of pain in this grip stop and don’t use it!!

In Allegra there’s no downward stress on the shoulder girdle (the leg grabbing arm shoulder) it’s just a stretch of the arm and Allegra’s I teach have you grab the foot with the free leg bent so there shouldn’t be much going on with that arm other than a stretch. Even this motion may not be suitable for everyone! So there’s very little risk of straining this gripping arm in Allegra if you needed to bailout of the move, you can just let go! However, with behind the back elbow grips, if you slip or need to release quickly chances of spraining or straining the shoulder is much higher because of the behind the shoulder rotation of the leg gripping arm. It’s likely the arm will be pulled UP towards the head and this could injure the rotator cuff. If you’re not using the lower arm enough you also place body weight on the shoulder girdle while its rotating towards the back of the body. Really the Allegra and Pegasus are not the same or interchangeable as far a level requirements. Please be cautious when choosing behind the back grips with shoulder rotation.

Hi welcome!! No such thing as too anything for pole! I will mention that one handed spins are not appropriate for new dancers at all. Regardless of your size you’ll want to build up your strength and condition your body for more advanced work. In fact most spins are not suitable for new dancers so relax if not be able to do those is stressing you out!
Everyone progresses totally differently so forget about coming up with a mental timeline for moves by looking at others. If you’re seeing progress, even if it’s just a little, then you’re on the right track!
I see you’ve got the lessons and suggest starting with the 30 day take off program, this will allow for safe progress into the fundamentals of pole! I hope reading all of these replies makes you feel inspired!!
