Yes, with PC or metal you have to have skin contact. I have wrapped my lyra before and just didn’t like the feel of clothes on grip tape, I think because I’m use to the strong contact I get with skin only. I find the small diameter of the lyra to be more painful on knee pits and elbow pits for sure!!!
I’ve had my lyra for just over a yr now but I’ve only used it maybe 10 times.

We’ve now hit 50 Quick lessons!!!!!!!!! Yay!

It’s so odd…maybe I deleted it on accident when I uploaded a quick lesson 🙁 I can’t wait to see you play!

Um, the vid is gone!!!!! 😳😳😳 Not sure what happened and I don’t have it on my phone anymore either, so weird ðŸ˜
I would like to play on it tomorrow so let’s hope that works out!!!!

You’re not alone in struggling with working the opposite side. If working on tricks right now is too challenging, try focusing on Conditioning and Strength work using both sides. Either do a bit of extra reps on the weak side or only as many reps as the weak side can do. Once things equal out try working on Pole sits and beginner work, as long as you’re working those you’ll stay fairly equal.

Absolutely! ✨The lessons here have tons of options for both on and off pole training and conditioning, including several 20-30 minute routines! All lessons are placed in a progessive order allowing you to build strength and a technical foundation! 💜

Oh dear! I don’t know anything about this syndrome but we have some amazing members so hopefully someone can at least point you in the right direction. There must be some other way of relieve other than surgery 🙁

I’m glad you hear you’re put back together again 🙂 Welcome back!

Congrats!!!! My 3rd and 4th we not expected, the 4th was a big shock, but I couldn’t imagine life without him. There are many threads about this if you would like to see them you can use the Search function on the top left.
Here is an old thread I found for you https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/338

Omg! The fatigue video, much of it fits my mom and myself! Only my mom had not learned how to focus on how to turn this into a positive. I’m learning……

Oops hit enter too soon! Dry legs this combo works great, but may cause hands to slip if they really sweat. https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/52ab9aba-a310-41ab-83d6-636d0a9aa0eb

If your hands sweat and you want something cheap and natural try vinegar.

You can also create events here too if you like. https://www.studioveena.com/events You can also search for people close to you here.

Hey newschik, My shoulders don’t like that trick, it’s one of those “not every pole move is right for every body” things 🙂
Also guys, not sure if you saw, but I posted a new routine that will help you with your elbow, forearm and handstands! https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/557fb444-6e60-4c80-ab79-67ca0a9aa0eb

Yes, I agree with Luna, just start now! You WILL build strength as you pole, once you have the fundamentals and basics down then to move on to more power moves you may want to do some weight training in addition to your pole work. 🙂

I’ve had events pop up on my fb feed and been invited to a hoop jam, but it was a weekend we were busy and it was kinda far from here. There’s a ton of yoga studios but with the kids school schedule I didn’t have time to check anything out yet. Now this July I head home to spend some time with my mom so still doesn’t seem like a great time to start anything. I’d love to take some dance classes.
Those tees are soooooo cool! I’d make them with you!

Get the patent, anything that is shiny like that grips really well!
