More back training and I’ve got a tight hamstring to work on! 😊

Oh! Gray is such a hard color to do. I’ve I nky seen it turn out if you lift the color so much it’s white first. If you don’t mind possibly having to cut damaged hair you could just try, but gray is tough.

If you’re hair has been that processed it’s best to go to a qualified stylist. 🙂

I wear s/xs depending on style. I wear xs in the one BK item I have. Not sure that’s very helpful! lol

Hmmm well it’s worth a try! I’ll share this to my twitter as well for you.

Traveler, I’m glad to hear you’re not stressing about taking some time off. Take some time on vacation to try and stretch a bit and bring a tennis ball with so you can do some rolling on any sore spots you have!

It sounds like a pectoral (chest) muscle if it’s right under the clavicle and inverting usually wouldn’t strain that area too much, usually. Without seeing how you were inverting it’s just an assumption tho. If the pain hasn’t changed much and it hurts to breath you could have a rib out. If you strained the muscle it will get better over time and might feel “good” to massage the area, if a rib is out ouch it will not help to massage it, unless it minor then some massage might loosen up the opposing tight muscle and the rib could go back. I tore my pectoral minor moving a free standing fireplace up some steps and I didn’t even know I had done anything until the next day….Hurt for a looooong time.
Now how it happened? As long as you’re not using really heavy resistance I doubt you injured yourself doing conditioning exercises. Sometimes we get injuries not from what we’re doing but rather because we have a muscle imbalance. If you have super tight pectoral muscles and weak muscles around the scapula, injuries can develop. As long as you’re not doing any of the exercises and pole moves by jerking, jumping or throwing your body weight without control you’re probably doing things right… if you follow my cues in each lesson.
Sometimes just leaving things alone for a few days is all we need.

Carla, what do you mean you popped something? If you have a muscle tear then you need to care for it properly with rest, ice and massage. If you just heard a pop sound and had no pain then you’re probably fine, joint make noise sometimes.

Just be careful if gripping behind the back for this….it can really strain the shoulder for many people! 🙈

I mean Gemini..AKA outside leg hang and it’s a long leg hang.

Hmmmm, that’s just a Scorpio with once hand behind you. I’ve not heard of that move 🦄

Grayeyes, I think a lot of people worry about poling alone. I say the most important thing is to stay within your comfort zone, use a crash mat and keep a phone near by.
We can focus so much on the things we’re scare of we end up manifesting them! It’s good to have respect for your pole and abilities, as long as you keep it reasonable it’ll be fine. For some that might mean only doing floor work or avoiding inverts at home and that’s totally ok!
