Congrats on new website <3 Looking great and I love it!
Keep up the good work Veena and Webmaster!
As a member since 2016 I’m still very satisfied with your content :* -
Hi Veena
I only found this trough the discussion search, is the get certified section no more in the tutorials section? Also I cant find my certifications I achieved in my profile?
-
Ok thank you. Just has this idea for programs because I stretch the ballerina a lot.
-
The Tutorials looking great! Have not seen them before.
Recently I’m very obsessed with the dancer pose (what it’s called in yoga) aka your advanced ballerina stretch. I’m not very good at this, working with a band for reaching (someday) my foot. Is it possible you do a little program for flexibility goals like this ballerina stretch, the bridge, maybe neelde scales or something like that?

Oh nice, thank you!

Dear Veena
I am very sorry to hear that. I hope you are feeling a little better by now. Thank you for sharing this experience with us.
I had a similar experience when I had a herniated disc in my cervical spine. I had such severe pain for 3 months that I could hardly move, had almost no strength in my right arm (I couldn’t even lift an empty cup). Only very strong painkillers that made me totally high conquered the pain. Because I was so high on them, I still couldn’t do much. After 3 months I could start physio, after 6 months I could lift a cup with my arm again. It was a long road, I became depressed, needed the painkillers more and more as an “escape” rather than a painkiller.
After about a year, I plucked up my courage, stopped taking the painkillers and slowly started doing exercises again. With the help of your programmes like 30 Days Take Off, I slowly worked my way back up until I could exercise “normally” again about 7 months later. The whole journey was about 1.5 years long.In April 2022 I tore the TFCC in my wrist. In January I finally had no more pain and was able to start training pole dancing properly again. Currently I am doing the 30 days take off programme AGAIN.
I kept stopping pole dancing, but I never gave up!
From my experience I would like to share the following with you:
1. if you love something, for example pole dancing, keep at it and come back when you are ready.
2. I have tried many pole tutorial programmes, websites etc. but always come back to your website. Your tutorials have something that others don’t have: Focus on proper technique and safety and progressive steps. So I want to thank you for all that you have created!
3. I wish you all the best on your way. Whether it’s back to pole dancing or just back to a pain-free life. -
Very nice work, thaks Veena!
Listened to this yesterday. -

Hopefully you can do pole soon! I feel you, I hurt my tfcc in the wrist a year ago.
Take your time, you will rock this! -
I meant can’t wait to start lol…I’m in holiday 😀
-
OMG this sounds really cool!!! Can’t wait!

Yay I get green light from doctor today to start again with light loads on my wrist. I can do all things that use a normal frontal grip (no split, twisted or other grips and no handstand things). I’m very happy!
Starting with this today! -
This is great! I have to use this soon because I hurt my tfcc in the wrist while training the superman (the top hand). I do not know what actually was the bad thing I did with the top hand but I think it was a simple overuse and overtwist at the same time. It’s not severely injured but it forced me to stop poling to properly heal and sadly this takes longer than I expected 🙁
But yeah soon I will do the 30 day take off program to come back 🙂 -
WoW! Thanks for mention me in your post! I am very grateful that I could help with my ideas in the development of this certificate. However, you did the hard work and for that I thank YOU.
I hope a lot of polers will have fun with this!XXX PoleAdventures

Looking forward to this!! Happy filming 🙂

Ah and to the time frame: It would be great if there is no time frame, but I would like an order, like you have to pass Beginner 1 and 2 before Beginner 3.
-
I would love too Option 1. The digital cert is my favourite because I don’t think you want to send papers to Switzerland 🙂 (heavy costs).

Never thought this gets so much interrest 🙂 I look forward to hanging a Veena Dance Certificate on my wall 🙂

I want to give you an advice that helped me with my slow progress when starting pole dance (and I was 32 years old, so you would think “oh thats a lot younger than me”, but it happens to me too when I start pole)
I took pole classes about 6 months and couldn’t any spin or climb while all the other “beginners” did it. What I learned after 5 years of pole: First, spins and climbs are NOT beginner work when you do not have any fitness background. I struggled with climbs for MONTHS. Second, honestly a lot of gorls in the beginner classes are not beginner, especially if they come from ballet, or other fitness or strength training.
The only “fix” I made is to stop going to classes. I was so frustrated at my 32 years surrounded by fit and strong girls in their twentys. What I did was attentively watch Veenas tutorials, follow the programs and give myself and my body time to grow. The pressure of comparing and emulating the others fell off and I could finally enjoy pole dance and its learning process.
And another thing I think about: It could be that 6 times training for pole a week is a bit too much stress for your body so it does regress rather than progress. Maybe go for 3 times a week or strictly follow a program at the website.

Hi polertamikia8851
I would just give you two tipps that helped me a lot with progress and motivation to stay on track:
First, film yourself while doing tricks, spins and even strength work. You will see progress over time that you can compare. And only compare your progress, not progress made of others.
Second I would suggest to follow one of Veena’s programs. 30 Day start off is great for building a foundation and not to overwork your body. Or if you ready do the beginner levels oder later the invert program. They are so well structured and you will see some progress after finishing those.

There is also the PDC (Pole Dance Community) Syllabus. When you register on the PDC Website, you can download the Syllabus. Otherwise, I uploaded the Syllabus on my google drive, so you can download it:

The moves are listed by level. I use it too on my phone as app (it’s paid but not expensive). You can work through the levels and use Veenas lessons as instruction.

It is so nice to see that you are motivated again and that you are enjoying creating new videos and tutorials. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Thanks for all the recommendations! I have another pair of paradise chick, a leopard print. They are great for the “sticky-ness” but I don’t like that they are highwaisted. It looks like all the brand ones are a bit high waisted.
I think I will look at amazon. What did you search for? Just wet look leggings or sticky leggings? What material are they made of? Is everything “wet-looked” working with the pole, no matter the material? -
Ohhhh nice, thank you so much! 😘😘💜
