yeah there was video of it at the time. She was doing all sorts of fun aerial things then came down and did a basic fireman and a sexy get up and the pole came down and there she was holding it in her hands…..yikes!

its fun to do the stickers on the clear shoes to go with an outfit. Somewhere on here veena has a tutorial on redoing the platforms and heels with sticker paper which is cool as well and can also be peeled off.

not a fan of them but you could do something similar with a clear pair of heels and stickers. I did some with pots of gold and leperchauns for st pats day one year then just peeled them off.

Alesha she doesn't that I know of, I got to take a private lesson with her yesterday. Big thing on my to do list was hip hold pike. I really wasn't getting it from dvd's (I admit I suck at learning from dvd's) it really took someone going put this hand here, this leg here…then next thing I knew she had me in the superman. we did it a couple of times its not pretty I call it my so so man lol

the key is if you can learn to master it. I've had one for 4 years. Unless it is very humid out or I literally slather myself with grip aid I can't do anything but a couple of very basic spins, a basic invert and maybe on a good day climb one or 2 scooches and pole sit for 2.3 seconds. I have done a layback on maybe once or twice. I hate the fact that I can't do much of anything on it to this day.

I think part of the reason I'm fairly calm about meeting them is because I was on dial up, didn't download youtube video's much until about 6 months ago. So while I knew some of these people I was getting to meet were a big deal in the pole world it didn't seem as much that way to me because I wasn't spending hours drooling over their performances. I was as excited to meet Charley as Karol when I went to detroit for the Karol Helms workshops last year. I knew Charley from another forum and couldn't wait to meet her. With Karol i was nervous because I'm not used to doing pole lessons and here I was taking all 4 workshops (the last one was wayyyyyyyy over my head literally) with Michelle and Katrina I met them in Empy's house, in a casual non pole setting that made it easy but really loved them both as people very quickly and got to have them stay here at my house a couple weeks later. The rest I met in Jamaica….Fawina, Leigh Ann….they were both fun to be around. Alethea I met at empy's house so again a quickly going from oh wow! to wow what a nice person.

so far luckily I haven't become a blibbering idiot in front of any of them that I have met. I love Michelle to death and her and Katrina (and a bunch of other burlesque girls) have stayed at my house.

lol yep its a ceiling support. mostly that is what it is used for anyway, my xpole is mounted on the other side of the room and 95% of the time that is what I use since my grip sucks on the minx. My kids play on it though.

interesting plans…..although my big problem with all these stage poles is how small the stage is. I'm pretty sure I will be getting an xstage one just because it is more portable then most and my husband and I are not "building" things type people. I'm crafty, but horrible with power tools.

the  problem with what your describing making is it isn't going to be very easy to move. Gravity Plays favorites stage was made for them, it is steel with plywood on top, splits in half for transport and I think the pole is about 6ft? maybe 7. It is heavy to move (I've helped with it twice now) and you really can't spin much on it without it wanting to tip, I've been on it his name is "mr dickey" lol. they do a great job on the limited space they have on it,

I'm hoping to be there. Some things in life have taken a strange turn so not 100% sure I'm going to make it. at least this time since I won't be on a pole I won't kick you in the chesthttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif
