Im sorry your daughter is dealing with this, but I am glad the video has been removed. Girls keep uping the ante every year, im only wondering what its going to be like when my daughter hits that age. Why do girls have to creul sometimes??? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mad.gif
Let us know what the outcome is with the principal.

Hmmm, I like the song im doing for Ms Xpose, which were going to be my Feb vids for youtube. I do have another one in mind but its pretty long.

my friend suggested Cowboy Cassnova by Carrie Underwood. I always say I will listen to suggestions, and Ill attempt to tinker with them but if I dont feel it, im not dancing to it.

welcome to the board! Youll see lots of MD polers on here. Which studio are you going to? Congrats on getting your own pole, this thing becomes addictive!

thank you for the reminder! Sometimes I need to be reminded.
I want to say I am sorry for your loss of your mom and you MIL not feeling great. As a mom, I know first hand what its like to push yourself hardcore to help everyone out. Its in our nature, we give to everyone and dont take anything for us. Ill admit, I run on little sleep between getting to the office at 6am, getting my kids and being mom for a few hours, then off to pole or gym for an hour and attempt to give my husband some attention. Then on top of that doing the household chores.
If you can get help – even if its for an hour -TAKE IT! Even if someone takes your kids to the play area for you to get some rest, its going to be worth it!

if you try to choreograph a dance in the car b/c you got ideas while driving
If you wish wearing your pleasers in public was much more acceptable.
If you avoid getting a pedicure b/c its just going to get messed b/c of the pole.

Dont laugh but I normally order from http://www.discountstripper.com. Across the board all shoe prices are going to be the same. I had great service w/my first pair and ordered another pair for the competition. I also find a coupon code and save a few bucks.
Heres my rule on shoes. I will look at them and judge the material. If its the basic clear plastic (a my first stripper shoe if you want to call it), I order a size down since the plastic will warm up and swell. If they are the pvc and look durable (like the ones in my profile pic), I get them in my street shoe size.
Always ask customer service, they should be the most knowledgeable about the shoes itself.

name: LuAyne, but I normally go by Lu
age: 25
location: Hanover, MD
stage name: Lulu – I even have a Team Lulu tee
lessons or self taught: lessons via Xpose fitness
spin or static: I have only touched spin once, I like them both
shoes or barefoot: both, really depends on the music
favorite pole move: elbow mount
day job: Title clerk for a local Honda Dealer, Mary Kay Consultant, Mom of 2
your best/sexiest feature: eyes
how you got into pole dancing: Heard some of the Xpose Towson girls on the radio, drove to the Arundel mIlls location, took down their number and googled it.
how you found out about studioveena.com: as vain as it sounds, I was bored at work and googled my screenname, I use the same one for everything. Found a video that Loveracing25 did dedicated to me.
underwear would you be a thong, boy shorts, bikini cut or granny panties: boy shorts -fun, flirty, with a hint of mystery -
Oh that sounds like a total nightmare. I’d much rather be able to walk into a shop and buy a pair, even if they were a bit more exepnsive, just to avoid the hassle.
this is me! Im a total instant gratifcation girl!

whoever is running the program, THATS WHO YOU NEED TALK TO. I dont know how your skills are but if your not ready for inverts, you need to be doing other things. I always say that your natural instinct will kick in if you need to stop yourself.

The person who was taping, I did appreciate that they got close ups and zooms. But I wish they camera was left alone during some of the performances.
Trust me, I was watching it and thinking ‘oh Id love try that in my routine!’.

Ive been a dancer my whole life. Ive been performing since I was a kid. Pole was the next progression that felt natural. it gives me crazy confidence. After a good class, I feel like I could walk the Victoria Secret Fashion show eventhough I dont have the body for it. It also still challenges me after all these years. I get bored quickly working out so pole keeps me on my toes (literly!please excuse my spelling, its early)
