yesss thats the one i think. i wasn’t sure of the name since all the names used on here are different from what my teacher used. she called it the flying pole cat lol. but yeah when you kick ur legs up and grab from behind and ship with your back to the pole. the arm holding the pole rubbed against it. i was just learning and wasnt doing it very well lol so that could be w too

    thanks guys!
i think i’ve narrowed it down to coral, rylie, cherry, and amethyst (someone suggested the last, and i kinda like it)
ummm well i’m just under 5’10", fairly dark skin and almost black hair if that gives you a picture of me. actually, there are some in my profile. i do like cherry because it rymes with my name…but idk if its me. a friend said amethyst (like the stone) because its a pretty name and seems kind of exotic, and thinks it suits me. i like rylie cuz its cute but could also be i think. and i think coral is a pretty name you dont hear often, and i could see myself as a coral.
oohhhh well ill figure it out at some point. i’m practicing with my sister and cousin tomorro so i’ll ask them what they think too. any other suggestions would be great!

everyone of all shapes and sizes can pole dance! i took classes and some of the curvier girls were better than the tiny ones!
of course, you would have to be stronger to lift more weight than would a smaller person. I am not overweight, but i am tall and muscular. almost 5’10" at 160lbs. it was a little harder for me to do some of the lifting moves at first because i have more weight to lift than many others. but you become stronger with practice and weight training on the side doesn’t hurt! there was a girl who had to be under 100lbs in my class and i was jealous because she could just pull herself right up effortlessly, like she was a feather. but i like my curves, and im proud of where i am cuz ive worked for it and become stronger.
so dont be put off just because your bigger than most!
    work it girl!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

thanks guys! yeah it didnt happen till i did a certain spin where my arm was pushed right against the pole. so its been bothering me just doing regular spins. but i should probably just cover it till it heals.
    thanks for your replies!

i’ve tried the elipitatior, and it HURTS! looks like an electric shaver but its hundreds of little tweezers inside. i did part of one leg, closing my eyes and wincing. I couldn’t even do the other leg! I have never waxed, I just shave. But once i’m out of school and get a job, the first thing i’m spending my money on is PERMANENT LASER HAIR REMOVAL. I have really thick almost black hair. I shave my legs and everything in the morning, and by the afternoon u can start to feel stubble. Its such a pain. Its probably expensive, but i would never have to buy mens razors or conditioner again (haha veena funny we use he same thing!) And it will have a lot of time and hassleeee. So in the long run tis worth it. Think about it….never have to shave again??? Sign me up!!!

hmm not sure what kind of lighting your looking for, if its decorative or for a lot of light. but amazon.com has a lot of great stuff….i buy everything on there! and usually i’ll go to the store and find out what size i take in a certain brand of shoe, then buy the one i want on amazon b/c it is soooo much cheaper.

heres a couple things i liked, one expensive but cute, didnt really know what u were looking for.

I too live about 30 minutes from RI and there is a store about 20 minutes away from me, although you may be 30 minutes away in the opposite direction, who knows. i live in MA…where are you from? I only know of one store in my area.
