Buy some sliding closet doors from home depot. you can get a pair for like 70. Tall, framed mirrors to lean against the wall. Or you can always hire a glass man to come and mirror your walls floor to ceiling.

Personally, I would so paint the frames my detail color and get a really sexy light fixture. I’d also put up a nice tasty wall mounted shelf for my pole shoes, and maybe another when I had more, staggered. My pole area doesn’t have windows, so I’d probably hang curtains so I could pretend I had windows.

Here’s where I’d get it all

    homedepot.com for the mirror doors.
lightinguniverse.com for my track lighting fixture…. home depot also has a good lighting selection
overstock.com for window treatments, ’cause they usually have a megaselection.

OH. And I have this fantasy of mounting a straight back chair on my wall that I can take down for chair stuff.

Oh what great ideas!! I will def be checking out those websites ya my room is in the attic and although it’s like a regular room, the sides of the room (length wise) has slanted walls so would be easier to lean mirror against wall rather than have mirrors on the wall i also really need a way to store clothes shoes I am actually looking for shoes even though the deals online are amazing, since I can’t try it on I’d rather buy in person I am having a hard time finding stores around here that sell "exotic wear" any idea how to locate thoses kinds of stores in your own local area? I tried local.com but nothing might just be there really none around here they have a couple nice stores in RI, but that’s 30-35mins drive well any help would be appreciated and thanks again for the great ideas! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

hmm not sure what kind of lighting your looking for, if its decorative or for a lot of light. but amazon.com has a lot of great stuff….i buy everything on there! and usually i’ll go to the store and find out what size i take in a certain brand of shoe, then buy the one i want on amazon b/c it is soooo much cheaper.

heres a couple things i liked, one expensive but cute, didnt really know what u were looking for.

I too live about 30 minutes from RI and there is a store about 20 minutes away from me, although you may be 30 minutes away in the opposite direction, who knows. i live in MA…where are you from? I only know of one store in my area.

Am looking foward to getting room decorated was up there just now but wasnt really into it some of it is the lack of a good mirror as well as having clothes/shoes ect not organized https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_shaking2.gif

I do have med size mirrors, blacklights, and a strobe ( but don’t use too often and doesnt look good on video.. better for parties) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_colors.gif

I wish I had a room to decorate in. My pole is stuck out in my unheated garage since my house is all vaulted ceilings. I’m going to hand some curtains around the area though so I don’t have to look at the car or cement walls.

OH! and alsoooo i remember you saying you didnt know of any stores to buys shoes, cuz u didnt wanna buy online incase they didnt fit. well the glass slipper in NB has a couple but not much, i didnt find anything there. theres a place and marion called Secrets….and more.
    heres the adress:
    http://www.yellowpages.com/name/Marion-MA/secrets
they have some shoes in the store and outfits. they dont have that many shoes at the store, but lots of catalouges. and if you find on ein a catalouge you like, they can have you try on the same brand of shoe of another style they have there and will order it for you. (or you can write down the name and size u need and go on amazon and try to find it. they are cheaper on there)
hope i was of some help!!!

Get photos of polers who inspire you and stick them up on the wall https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

believe me my room was a mess its a room in the attic took alot of work to make it look like an actual room i say lighting goes along way i like string lights (and of course blacklights) if you can find a couple big mirrors that helps too any room has potential just have to get creative https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_dwarf.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_compress.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_farao.gif

i miss my pole room T_T

i was given my mirror, which was a mirror they had in their closet door ^.~
and then i had halloween (purple xmas lights) strung all over, which are now in the studio~
i used to have halloween icecicle lights i think they should still be at my moms unless i let someone borrow them.

also a great sound system helps ^^ my hubs let me use his~ <3 omg i LOVE TEH BASE!!! the sound system also has a plug slot so I can plug it into my mp3 so it works awesum for the studio.

im sure once u start looking around and working on it ur room is going to turn out AWESUM!

    cant wait to see it!!
