Just letting you guys know, Tite Grip reformulated their grip aids for high activity and severe perspiration. Tite Grip I Original has long lasting drying power and a strong dry smooth grip. Tite Grip II Lavender (coming out by the end of this week) also has long drying power, dries clear and a more grippy feel. You can also use it all over the body like between the thighs, behind the knee, on your shoulder, side of your waist, whereever.

sensualscimitar – I GUARANTEE one of the 2 new formulas WILL work for you. 😉

Since you have a perspiring problem, definitely try Tite Grip! It helps sweaty hands grip on anything slippery.

Squared splits on the ground are where your hips are squared and not diagonal or uneven. Perfect square. Front leg with knee straight up, back leg with top of your thigh touching the ground and your knee facing the ground.

Jade splits aren’t really splits. Your knee rotates out along with your outer hip rotating out. Also keep your chest facing up to the ceiling, not towards your leg. This will flatten your jade even if you don’t have perfectly squared full splits.

I asked my friend who she taught. Inside arm, same side hip hold AND from a side climb…. O_o Carolyn said as you’re inverting, angle your legs towards the pole (yep, my friend failed along with everyone else. Lol). I have yet to try this.

I heard Carolyn Chiu does a one-handed invert into chopper. So its possible. Lol. However how many else can do it too, umm… Lol!

Hope you recover quickly. It’s difficult to adjust to injuries.

I turned our sunroom into a pole room. It has a large bay window that opens up the whole room, draped with Waverly woven drapes on just the sides and Allen+Roth white sconces. Maple hardwood flooring. A standing hallogen studio light and a Jonathan Adler capri sconce for lighting. At night, I use a white Japanese room divider to cover the bay window. The room itself is creme walls with white crown moldings.

I have a super large thick mirror that I plan on mounting and then frame with white crown molding. This is what part of the room looks like in the morning.http://i40.tinypic.com/6hmceg.jpg

xying88 – As long as you continue to properly stretch with squared hips, you will easily drop split without a longgggg warmup. It takes time. I hit my full splits last October after 6 months. Then hit over splits 5 months later in March and drop splits felt so much easier. I felt comfortable sitting into splits (with arms up) maybe 1-2 months after I hit them. It comes with time and proper stretching. I do yoga 3x/week and one of them is deep contortion-like stretching. Pole 1x/week but the warmups are not enough to get me flexible like yoga.

Interesting! I used the calculator sensualscimiter posted and it said I burn 290.59 cals/hour. So I’m assuming those 1000 cal meals I inhale after pole are NOT good. Lol!

If its other topics about them, I take it as typical conversation. Not really paying attention to hidden messages, as I’m oblivious. In my area, we are really straight forward with bodies so if they like my body or are intimidated, they will say so. Like I’m sexy, brolic, shoulders, arms, skinny, etc. People who know I pole assume my definition is from pole but I tell them, its actually from vinyasa.

And lol @ spanx!!! I STILL wear spanx if its an uber skin tight dress like Herve Leger.

Yes and I love being bendy! I can touch my head in king pigeon, king cobra (if holding the pole), and full camel. And recently, forearm wheel, I was able to grab my opposite foot and touch my head but with assist. I’m still working on king cobra without the pole.

With wheel, it helps it you push up VERY SLOWLY and release VERY SLOWLY. That’s a common problem I see. Pushing too fast and the dizziness. Also helps to release your lower back by hugging your legs in and sway side to side.

Lmao! I can confirm the David comment. Went street poling with him once and he can do *anything* in jeans. No spray necessary. Jenyne doesn’t use anything either. It’s possible!
