LizzyLiz810 did a video I think about the EZ connect although I no longer see it on her page. She may still have it up on youtube.

Their prices are in Euro. 799 euro is curently $1019. (Last time I had priced them the exchange rate was worse.) That is without shipping.

Just a quick comment…….there are so many online stores that you should never pay GNC's prices. I am not sure about Canada, but I can literally purchase something from bodybuilding.com and have it delivered the next day, at max 2 days. All All Star Health is another great company. Last ditch efforts are usually VitaCost and Vitamin Shoppe.

They are ridicolously expensive in US dollars. You are looking at bout $1500 not including shipping. Don't even consider them.

Monday is pole play which usually is 2 hours, Tuesday is date night with hubby so I do not work out at all, Wednesday is Zumba and I try to stretch afterwards, Thursday is up in the air but I try to get *something* in, Friday I bowl for an hour, Saturday is Zumba and who knows what else, Sunday is a rest day. My husband wants to find some sort of stretching class for us to go to on Tuesday and Friday so I am currently looking into that. We took the bendability workshop in Detroit at the Showcase and he LOVED it. He does martial arts but was never shown so many of the stretches that we did during that workshop. With summer (hopefully) approaching bike riding, hiking and walking the dogs will get worked into my schedule.

(note, she had them cut a little shorter to accomodate new flooring she was planning on putting in)
I believe Shine Fitness also has PD: http://sphotos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/302865_393622784051334_433529756_n.jpg

The movement is exactly like when the x screws are not in all the way.

BTW, there are a few studios that have free standing poles like this. Veena was even at one of them. There have been quite a few threads over the years. This one is helpful: https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/4e9a18e7-4ac0-4ae3-b342-7a1c0ac37250

In order for this to work you will need to sink the base on the pole into the concrete. There is no way bolts into the floor will be able to support the entire torque you will put on the pole. Think about fence posts or flag poles or any type of post….they are all sunk into the ground and stabilized usually with footers or concrete.

I would call Poledanzer and talk to them as I am not sure about that height with a vaulted mount.
The little shift is not unlike what you feel with the pin on the PS poles. There is a little movement of the pole spin wise and that is just from the small amount of space you need in the hole for the pin so that you can get it in and out. There is similar movement with X Poles also due to the way the base is designed.
PD has RIDICULOUS spin capability….I have never been on any other brand that spins as fast or as smoothly as theirs do. I have not been on their stainless but I believe that Mary Ellyn has them at one of her studios. Their stainless I have heard is similar to a well broken in PS pole.
I know a lot of strip clubs use poledanzer. They have been around for quite some time.

Now compare her build to someone like Karol. Karol keeps protein drinks with her and drinks a ton of water yet she is super slim. Genetics…

How big your muscles get is mostly based on genetics. Now you can push the envelope by adding test and making other tweeks to your biological code but unless you are injecting stuff to do this I would not be so concerned about you getting huuuuuge. Now if you start squatting 250 lbs you might see some changes. Look around Oxygen magazine at the women who lift heavy. Look at the majority of pole "stars"….with the exception of a few most are just lean with definition. Hell, Look at Pantera who lifts and trains heavy….and I mean HEAVY.

The only way you will gain weight is 1: if your caloric intake is higher than your expenditure or 2: you start gaining muscle mass. I have actually put on weight since I started poing however I wear a smaller size (except in shirts and bras, there I have increased due to my lats).

Contact local studios. All of the studios here in Cleveland have stage poles that they will rent out. The cost may not be worth it though.

I buy Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Isolate at Walmart. It is $22 for a 2 lb container and tastes really good. I am not fond of their regular whey protein….taste is not as good and has more calories. Kroger tends to carry it also. A few years back protein prices spiked and have stayed kind of high. I found this stuff, the BCAA profile is really good and it does not break my wallet (between me and my husband we kill a tub a month, sometimes less than).

Protein within 30 minutes after working out. For heavy bodybuilders they aim for about 1 g of protein for each lb of weight per day. The branch chain amino acids that are in protein drinks are what our bodies need to repair tissue damage (basically what we do when we lift…we create tiny tears in teh tissue). Isolate is the easiest to digest but casein is slower to digest (usually taken before bed to aid in repair). Look for powders that 1: you can stomach and 2: have a decent amino acid profile. If a powder does not give the breakdown or is more filler than protein, pass it up. There are other proteins (soy, pea, hemp, egg white) but they do not have as good of a profile as good old whey.
Carbs before working out
Protein after
