I have fallen out of the caterpillar climb and it took me almost 6 months before I would try it again.
This move is 90% hamstrings and 10% arms, and yes, you can do it without hands (LeighAnn Orsi is one I know and also Amyxshi on there does a barely one handed climb). You should NOT be using your hands to push you up but using your hamstrings to pull you up. A good conditioning for this is hamstring curls using a stability ball. There is also a thread on here for caterpillar climb you may want to search out that has lots of tips.

There have been a few threads on here of people who have written articles pertaining to pole dancing or how people have told their friends/parents about it. I will try to search some of them out for you but here is one to start:

When I was having issues with slow loading of video I did the ping test that webbie suggested. Found that my connection was ridiculously slow. I rebooted by modem and my problem cleared right up. This is the first thing that pretty much any help line will tell you to do.

It is $179. Spend the extra $50 and get an X Pole.

JungleCat has a bunch of videos on his page (MrPhatLips).

This to me is like suing a gym because you dropped a bar bell on your foot while lifting weights.
The part where she is still attending classes is also interesting. Sorry, I have no info for you, just shock.

I know there is :
Marlo
Steven Retchless
Rebecca Star
Kyra Johannensen
Michelle Stanek
At Polesque there were a couple more dancers but I am not sure who they were.

I have Penthouse Chasity that lace up both sides and also zipper up the back. I rarely wear boots at home so I cannot say if they scratch the pole or not. These don't seem to have metal parts where you normally would grip the pole with the exception of possibly an inside leg hang.

Polingaround, if you are getting back pain I will ask if you are properly lifting and engaging when you invert. You should hurt no more or less going up than coming down. This tells me that you may not be quite strong enough to be inverting. When you tuck do you then tilt your hips up?
As for the inverted V, I started this as a way down from an invert before I even knew what I was doing. Try to get into crucifix first then release your legs into the V. Your hips have to be close to the pole in order to get this.

KittyCat…I believe that is just called the Remi. I thought that Charley had tutorials on that but she may just have the drop. That move hurts like crazy and I think you could probably do some serious ankle damage if you mess it up.
