oliviaaa, I am not sure if that was meant to be funny?  I see the 😛 at the end but many here may not pick up on that.

At this point I would definitely think it was a reaction to a cleaner or grip or something over a reaction to metal.  Grip stuff can very easily get on the floor.  Have you had a reaction on all metals?  Titanium is typically the most non-allergenic of all of the materials.  It is the same metal that is used for surgical implants (although I am not sure of the grade that X uses for their poles), so I am suprised that you ahd a reaction to it.  This is why I am thinking it may be a combination of products.  What kinds of soaps/lotions are you using?  It could be a combination.  Has it been all poles you ahve had issues with or only ones at this studio?  Are there other students when you take class that may be wearing something that you are allergic to?  When they clean the poles with vodka what kinds of towels are they using?  Are they cloth ones that are getting washed or paper towels?  There are so many possibilities.

If you are not dead set on 6 foot mirrors and can go with 4 foot instead, Walmart typically carries door mirrors that are about $5 and measure 12×48.  They are in a cheap plastic frame that is easy to remove.

You can also use/order an X with different extensions.  The standard A and B piece are about 40" but you can get extensions any where from 100mm (~4 inches) to 1000 mm (~40 inches).

Cocoa butter is a no no.  That will sit on top of your skin as opposed to being absorbed.  Not sure about the corn huskers and hand grip.  I read about it on another forum and know that many poeple have found success with it.  Nymphadora is a regular user during the winter months.  I like the liquid grip just because the stuff stays on your hands….and I mean STAYS, even through a light washing!

I have been in love with 8tracks lately.  You cannot see what is in the playlist but there is always good stuff!  I favorite playlists and songs and spend one day a month looking for them online.  Since many of them are dj remixes you can find them on soundcloud usually for free to download.

My absolute favorite grip aid is called Liquid Grip.  It is made for weightlifting but works great with my skin.

I know quite a few who have had good results with the Jillian 30 day shred.  I used to love the TurboJam workouts and had even looked into getting the Chalean Extreme (similar to P90X but less time involved per day).  I have a workout that was developed by a personal trainer but I cannot seem to locate it right now.  I will see if I have it bookmarked at work and post it on Monday.

Do you have 2 hours a night on average to dedicate to P90X?  If you exercised this much every day for 90 days doing pretty much ANYTHING you will have good results.  I know that insanity is worse (there are a few threads on here about both of them).  Before making an investment check your local library.  I know mine has P90X and the Zumba dvds, along with a lot of others.

Play it again sports or craigslist.  So many people get rid of weight plates cheaply or free on Craigslist it is amazing!
