They have found recently that creatine may be better for women than men. On a side note NEVER pay full price at GNC.

MemberJanuary 10, 2012 at 7:55 pm in reply to: Seeking nutrition advice–anyone tried Poletein?I have one protein I have been buying for the last year plus that I really like and it is cheap. You can buy it at Walmart of all places and it is Body Fortress Whey Isolate. Be sure to get the isolate as it has fewer calories and cholesterol. It is abour $22 for a 2lb tub and tastes pretty decent. I like to mix it with orange juice (it tastes like and orange julius). They recently came out with a chocolate version of it but I have not seen it yet.

I have tried a LOT of proteins. Dymatize makes a pretty decent protein as well as 4everfit (their fruit wheys are pretty tasty) and Optimum Nutrition. I try to stick with the isolates as they flavor better and mix well, plus they pack more protein for the punch.

There is a video on Xpoles account on how to get an xjoint out if yours happens to spin. This has been the only way I know how to get stuck pieces apart. I had to do the same thing with my new X Pole but on the top. It will and does come out.

Lu, I wish you all of the luck and I know that you are a strong woman and have thought hard about this. Just know that if things get nasty we are all here for you. This is my biggest fear for you.

There are a few threads here too regarding this and I want to say there are some in the bogs.

There really is nothing like getting into a room of like minded indivduals. This is one thing I miss the most about not taking classes regularly. I am teaching now but it is different when you are concerned about the safety and well being of everyone as opposed to just being a student. Even with Veena's lessons or even skype there is nothing like having a person right next to you that can say "here, maybe try putting your hand here" or " try engaging this muscle when you do this". Stuff like that is invaluable.

There was just a recent thread asking about studios. I would get in contact with Allure Dance in Orlando. Allie (who used to be on here) holds a USPDF Pro card.

I think I would freak out if I had a little hand reaching down at me. I am surprised that he/she had not busted through the ceiling tiles at all.
