Have you ever done it with someone holding your feet? You have to have a seriously solid aerial shoulder mount, be able to get your crotch to the pole and pike and then have a strong back to arch yourself up.

There is no code of conduct regarding this but I know for sure I would not take classes with that many peopel. There is no way in the world that one instructor can watch or even give enough one on one time to that many students in any given class time. Lulu (minicoopergirl) recently had a post here regarding a large class size and how she felt liek she was not progressing.
Seriously, 6-8 people per instructor is probably the limit to have an effective class.
I will try to find some of the other discussions that have been posted here and link them for you.

First of all…WELCOME!!!
This is not an easy sport but it is so fulfilling. You will learn so much about yourself when you start to play with your dance and movement of your body through space. Be gentle with yourself and realize that everyone progresses at a different rate. There are things that will come easy and things you will think "I will NEVER get that". You will have weeks or months when you think you are stagnant….use those to work on your flow. Above all else, don't be so rushed to get that next move. Learn the proper ways to get into and out of moves and don't do anything to hurt yourself. The pay off is great. On top of that this is an awesome community. You could not have found a more loving place where people accept you as you are and don't judge.

I have not tried the iskin. I actually just bought the microdermabrasion kit because I am starting to get fine lines and freaking AGE SPOTS. I REFUSE to look my age!!!! (although the zit I have under my nose is helping my guise)

Just so you all know, Sally's carries their own version of a skin brush that is supposed to be extremely similar to the Clarisonic and it is only $30. There are a TON of reviews if you google iskin vs clairisonic. Beware though because Sally's carries 2 iskins…one is a microdermabrasion system and the otehr is the brush.

If walking on the floor makes it bend I would be concerned. I know I have come down HARD from some moves in the past and I would not want to go flying through floorboards. Can you access under the shed? Possibly use one of the supports they sell for instances like this in houses?

Jafra cosmetics? I cannot believe they are still around!! My sister had a friend selling that back when I was in high school.
Do you have Scentsy in California? Might be an option and I know someone you can get in contact with to ask as many questions as you want about the company. My sister has been in for about 3 years and is making quite a bit of money. I can honestly say the product sells itself. https://rlohf.scentsy.us/Home

XPole sponsors events and does have pole dancers it sponsors (just look at their site).
This really should not come down to a company vs company again. Each company has its good and each has its issues. This has been discussed at great length numerous times. There is no 1 ideal pole for ALL situations. All we can do is educate ourselves on the different manufacturers and make an informed decision on what is best for our application.

They originally asked Veena but after she posted the video has comes back and said they never asked for that. While I will agree that they never asked for a comparison video they did indeed send her a free pole and asked her opinion. I do not know who Poledanceworld is but I have suspicions. It is amazing that this person is going out of their way to trash Veena at every oppportunity. You can definitely tell the difference in tone from the members of Jag6ed and the person who put the video up. I am not sure Jag6ed knew what they were getting themselves involved in.
I want to go on record again stating that Erica from PS has been a godsend to their company in terms of image, but as long as they keep posting videos like this to their FB page and allowing the stupidity to continue her efforts will be for naught.

I was on the old one at the studio last night and moved it about 2 feet while doing a reverse grab. One of my girls who HATES the X Stage because it is a bear to haul anywhere was looking into getting a SSA. I think she changed her mind.
I would also like to give props to XPole for not getting involved in any of this. X is not the one sending free poles out to people. Their silence speaks volumes.

I taught on these and never pulled the legs. I have performed on a standard X stage and have never pulled the legs. There are posts on each leg of the base that you can add plate weights (think barbell weights) to.

PG, did you read through this thread? Most likely it is a fake. Post a link to the seller, please.

I was going to make the comment about OC pole fitness being run by Collette but decided against it. I am glad that someone else did. I am REALLY getting sick of the "real" word being used regarding PS.
