It is much easier on spin from what I understand but you do move about a bit on static mode.  My one girl has managed to get probably 1.5 revolutions out of it.

Yea, Natural Calm is mixed with hot water and it fizzes like crazy and is super super super tart.

Magnesium citrate works well as a muscle relaxant however too much and you will be running to the bathroom.  I use a product called Natural Calm but you can also just buy little bottles of it already in solution where laxatives are (it is generally on the bottom shelf).

The other thing that sound odd but work instantly for me is tonic water.  Quinine is known to get rid of leg and foot cramps and is marketed as a homeopathic medicine for them.  What makes tonic water tonic water is quinine.  My husband drinks it with vodka so I always have it on hand but it is great if you are ever out partying as bars always have it too.

Seriously…work on side holds.  You should be able to hold that pole with arms bent in baseball grip.  I don't think I ever have my hands higher than my head at any point in the side climb.

Try looking and working on it this way: once you have straightened your legs try releasing them totally from the pole and going into a side hold.  From there push the forearm of the inner arm into the pole to give you some room and then use your obliques to side crunch your legs onto the pole again.  Straighten, reposition your hands into baseball grip, release legs from the pole into side hold, repeat.  That little forearm push (I am not really sure what to call it) is key (at least for me).

You need a really good knee pit grip to do this.  It really is not so much about strength as it is about being secure in that grip.  Try to work on apprentice/advanced star and even the one that is similar to this but the foot is behind the pole and you are leaning back.  A strong aerial hold is essential too.

Spinny, do you want me to post the email that you sent me through facebook a few months back asking me to get in touch with Webmaster for you?

Do you want me to link the posts where people have had issues getting intouch wityh you after they placed an order.

I can do all this, I really can.

I did no such thing as posting a "defamatory comment".  I posted the truth.

All I know is that she has been kicked off this site for not playing by the rules.  There are a few threads on here where people purchased items and then could not longer get in contact with the owner.  I have no dealings with them so I cannot say for certain, I can only tell you things I know.

What are you specifically looking to learn?  S Factor is really good for learning to slow down and be slinky.  I have the Art of Pole series but have not really used it.

When I was teaching I told peopel about it all the time.  Where I go for play also knows about it but some poeple are just not as obsessed as I am about pole.  A lot of people do not hav eth dedication to learn things on their own if they have a decent stidio offering classes.

Contact XPole and see if they have any.  I know after big events they will sell them off for quite a discount; I am just not sure if there have been any big events lately.

    *Place* the level…

Oh, make sure the pole is in static mode before trying any of this.

OK…I just perved your pictures.  On the bottom of the pole there is a cover that screws on over the bottom section of the pole.  Unscrew that and it will drop down.  After you drop it down you will see exposed threads with channels; those channels are important to note.  There are 3 hex screws that sit on the pole just above where that cover screwed on.  Loosen all three and you should be able to now screw the pole to the left and right.  You want to loosen it to the left (lefty loosey).  You will want to do this so that you will be able to get your pole back up into place.  Set the dome first and then move the bottom across the floor.  Once you have it in place turn the pole to the right (righty tighty) until it stays in place without you having to hold it up there.  Next get a level.  Please the level about midway on the pole and make sure the bubble is between the two lines.  Move the pole until the bubble is level.  Next, move the level a quarter turn and do this again.  After you ahve done this you need to tighten the pole back up.  This is the tricky part as you do not want it too tight so the pole does not spin but not too loose so it falls down.  Once you have it tightened, MAKE SURE THE HEX SCREWS LINE UP WITH THE CHANNELS and then tighten them down.  Replace the cover and you are set.
