Thanks Colleen. I did both feet. Had to sleep on the hospital for 3 nights. The doctor said it will take 6 weeks to 2 months until I can walk again. I’m ok with anything as long as I could get rid of those bunions at the same time (big smile).

Thanks Veena. I will need to keep it safe at least 6 weeks until I can walk again. In the past years, each time I went to class, I always felt “They’re looking at my ugly feet” LOL. Next year I will have only the scars, no more ugly bunions. So happy!!!!

I did it! I had an injection into my lower back spine and I felt no pain during the surgery. I will have almost normal feet like others! Yeah!

Thanks for your advice but I can no longer stand my ugly feet. I will be ok to sit long until I can slowly walk again. I eat mostly whole foods and very little so currently I’m under weight. I will exercise my upper body and move the legs in possible movements during a few first months after the operation.

I had a check up with the doctor in a hospital. After the X Ray, he showed me what he would do to adjust the toe into the right direction. He also advised me to do one foot at a time and said a regular pain killer for the foot couldn’t bear the operation pain, so he would use the spine injection. But that time I just paid the doctor, staff cost and X Ray cost and didn’t take the surgery. Now a few years have passed and I decided I would do it in another hospital.

How many days did it take until you could walk, Colleen? I heard that someone having a back surgery could walk after a week. Thanks.

Thanks a lot, Colleen. And about the scars. Are they visible and did you do something with them? Going to a beauty clinic to treat the scars, something like that…

I was thinking of it many years ago and gave up after I saw the youtube clips of the surgery. Looked so scary!!!! Now I think I have enough with my ugly feet each time I go to the beach or pool. I guess I’ll do both at the same time so I only bear the thing they inject in my spine once (so I won’t feel pains during the operation). I heard someone died after this spine thing. Scary scary!!!!

Hi Dolce, I’m thinking of a bunion surgery and I feel it is scary. How are your feet now? I had an accident many years ago on my foot and it took several years until pains completely went.

  • Thank you for your replies.

  • Thanks for your reply. The post I read in this forum said we need 2 different groups of muscles to do the middle splits and to do the butterfly pose on the floor, and most people are not flexible at both.

Any effort is good, be it full time ot part time. The latter is called plant based, not vegan. I have a headache if I eat too much banana or almond.

You can eat tons of fresh and raw fruits and vegetables without having to count. It works to me. Any diet requiring calory counting will not work. Please eat organic raw, or steamed, boiled, nothing processed, and you can eat until full every meal. About carbs, as long as they are real foods like boiled potato, boiled/steam sweet potato, cooked whole rice, eat them up. I don’t eat french fries and things being fried in hot oil. Hope you will find a style which suits you. Everybody is different. Try until you feel good.

When I started to eat clean, the first step was to stop eating everything having a commercial (advertised on TV). I cut all the refined sugar and refined salt. I try to eat whole foods as often as possible. I cut out cow milk and meat. Feeling much better.

If you block him, he might create another account to do his creepy things. Just reply short and cold like “thanks” and put him in a list so he can no longer see your pictures and updates. I had friends who always messaged some compliments instead of clicking like. That bothers me a lot, like they’re on fb with a low profile while trying to stalk girls and nobody knows. I told them I cannot response to all messages as I have too many of them everyday. They still stalk me publicly (all those “you’re sexy” comments, etc.) but lose their interests after a while.

Try a parasite/worm clean. Many fatigue/sick symptoms seem to relate to it. There are some natural methods other than eating the conventional tablet.

I showed mine the pic of a poler in a very tough trick. She looked so cool to me but he said she looked too muscular and looked like a man. He wanted me to put on weight too. I just conclude that men know nothing about being toned. At least my husband. Unless they train, they will not know what is better. They with their big size will always like fatty wives so they feel they don’t hug the log. So I just don’t care what mine think. But I don’t let myself go skinny because he does not like a skinny wife.

Because I have not used the cup, I only can imagine. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The pad is always there and touches Miss V but all the liquid are inside it, not much to go back. I can only feel wet a little.

But the cup keeps all the liquid and liquid can flow back inside my body if I invert.

Did I pain the picture right?

Sorry to hijack the thread, but do you wash and dry your cloth pads? I don't think I dare to use the cup.

@AerialGypsy, I use pads too but I just buy. Do they have cloth pads for sale? Thanks.

I think it stays with how you feel after you train more than 3 times a week. If you feel your flexibility doesn't reduce and if you feel you're not sore, then it should be ok.

For me, I must take more breaks. I've done flexi training for 4 years now. Previously one day train, one day rest. Now I need 2 days rest as I feel I over trained. I found out in horror my flexo did not improve much.

I read from a contortion website which says if we stop one day, our flexo sets back 7 days so I was worried. But just me that I can't train everyday.

Thanks Veena for the link and for your advice.

@https://www.studioveena.com/users/view/4d8119e7-5908-4e25-b252-2c3c0ac37250, I often rest until I can catch up my breath. It's like a minute or 2 until I go to the next stretch. I often change positions as I'm scared my blood doesn't flow well. If I just finish my splits 1st round for both legs, I'll go to back stretching. After a few cobra poses, I go to splits again for 2nd round. Some back bends and some headstand or elbow stand with the wall. I now will lay down flat on the yoga mat to rest for a few minutes. Then I sit to do the splits again. I feel if I sit to do splits for 10 minutes straight, it might be too long and blood doesn't flow well.

Don't know if it's right or not so right but it seems to be ok with me. Any advice is appreciated.

My whole stretching session often lasts more than 90 minutes, from warming up, stretching to cooling down.

I'm wondering if your period is that smooth that you can't tell before it comes. I always know a day or 2 in advance. I will become exhausted faster when I workout. I will feel the changes with my stomach (bigger, feeling heavy & not normal…)

Mine comes very steadily. This month on the 15th. Next month the 11. I just count 4 days back. In recent months it came a few days late. Could be that I had visitors stayed in my house who gave me stress for a week. Otherwise I'm going to enter my "pre-golden age" https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif(when I'm going to have less and no period soon).

Interesting topic btw. Heard of this cup thing from a vegan personal trainer. I bet it's not for a virgin.
