Ok, email sent. let me know if you have any probs opening the attachment. BTW – did you design the site from scratch or was it a template?

The forum does not allow PDFs nor Microsoft Word docs to be attached. Send me your email and I’ll send it that way. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I was on my work computer on my first response.
Checking again from my home computer it’s better but not great. Lemme know if you want some screenshots sent.

The flash is great on your site! The text (like in the bio/news sections for example) is really difficult to read however because it’s simply too small.

I know what you mean, pole-twista….I too am having the hardest time trying to decide what to get. As soon as I think I’ve made my mind up, I second guess myself and start telling myself to buy something different. Ugh, why can’t there be a pole-walmart with display units so we can try them out before buying?! Heh

…but it is very hard to capture on camera.
I’m a photographer so I may be able to help here…. I’m assuming you’re using a point & shoot camera…but does your camera have a macro setting? It usually a small graphic of a flower. If so, zoom your lens all the way OUT (do not zoom in), turn on the flower setting, and then physically move your camera closer to the pole. You should be able to tell how close you can get before the lens isn’t capable of focusing (usually about 8 or so inches away). -
Thanks so much for the responses and input!!

Ok, I still haven’t purchased by pole. I know, I know, I’m horrible at making decisions. I spend a ton of time analyzing everything to make sure I won’t have regrets later. Heh.
So, right now I’m still debating pole finish. In my decision this is where I’m at with my thought process:
I live in Utah so the weather is extreme:
summer = hot and dry
winter = freezing and humid outside but extremely dry inside (due to building’s heaters)My skin is dry in the summer and very dry in the winter.
In the studio I go to they use stainless and brass so that’s what I’ve learned on. In the winter the stainless was fine but I’ve noticed now that it’s summer and hot, it’s very slippery since the studio doesn’t have AC (my home does though so maybe slippery stainless won’t be a prob there?). So, with all that detail….what do you think? Are the votes with stainless or chrome???
Thanks for your input!

Thanks for the input on chrome versus stainless! Gosh, to be honest, I hadn’t really even looked at the differences between the two. (blush)
I checked and my studio uses stainless (Orig ‘Lil Mynx permanent poles)….so I am used to stainless and brass.
Now I’m thinking I’ll go with PS New Extreme Super Pole instead….. Hmmmmm

Thanks for the input!!! I think I’m leaning more towards the Xpole. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Thanks for responding, SissyBuns. The studio I attend has both brass and chrome poles. I prefer brass for the easier grip but chrome is far more common so I was going to get chrome. I figure if I can do a trick on chrome, then I sure as hell should be able to do it on brass, right? Hehe.
Have you used a Platnium Stages Extreme pole before? Is there a specific reason you prefer the Xpole?
