I know its not got much to do with stretching but during my pregnancy I did a lot of walking and my midwife told me that it was probably the main reason that I delivered quickly. Just be very careful in the latter stages of pregnancy that you dont walk too far!! As far as stretching goes I think the girls have hit the nail on the head by suggesting pre-natal yoga. I cant speak from experience but Ive heard great things about it. If you cant afford classes or if there are none available near you, might I suggest that you purchase a dvd, Im sure there are some on the market these days. There are a couple of yoga instructors here on this site and Im sure they can advise you better than I can. ‘yogabeachbabe’ is a yoga instructor as far as I can re-call. Also Veena is a certified pre and post natal fitness instructor….

I was only in a club with a pole once. I was visiting a friend in London and there was a bar with 2 poles in it! I wasnt able to do much on it cause I had tight jeans on and the guys there were being very touchy-feely with me and my friend so we waited til closing time and did some stuff on it! If you install your x-pole properly it will not fall down!! It works on pressure, thats why there are no ceiling fixtures. That’s what makes the x-pole so brilliant. U can move it from room to room without having to ruin your ceilings with screws. Please watch the dvd and read the installation instructions, its very important. The only reason Jungle Cat’s pole fell is because in his excitement at getting his pole he didnt screw it tight enough! (Correct me if Im wrong Jungle xx)

Ive never done a detox before so I cant really comment on that, sorry https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif . The girls have given you some great tips for the garage. Do you have a mirror in there? If not you should get one if you can. Also the picture idea is good too. Or if you have some paint lying around you could do some designs on the wall. Im really sorry to hear about your husband. My fiance is in college at the moment. He was an early school leaver and never went to college so when he lost his job he thought it would be his best opportunity to do what he wants to do – be a paramedic. Thanks Lola, that was very helpful. I always had one hand on the pole. Sometimes it was above the hooked leg and sometimes under so I suppose you could say I did cupid and star. Wow that was super fast!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif You’ll get used to the grip! We use 50mm X-poles in the studio I take lessons in and when I got my pole (a 50mm x-pole!) it felt less grippy than the studio pole which I couldnt understand cause they’re the same pole but after a while I got used to the grip of my own pole and I find the grip of the studio poles less grippy some times! Its all about what you’re used to. Maybe Im wrong, I dunno.
