Old at 35?? I just started doing pole at 44 and feel more confident and sexy with myself now then before. I've learned if you feel it then others feel it around you – I've always been jealous of those girls that can just own it and don't care what others think – regardless if they look silly – they still own it and I love that. I'm self conscience about it too but learning to relax and enjoy. If you have danced throughout your life then you are probably being more critical to yourself than you need to be. You are in your prime..embrace it….the 40's are fun too…..enjoy!

Yes, forgot to mention, make sure you get the xpert xpole if you are going with xpole. I have never trained on a static pole but if you read the blogs you will see most like the option of spinning or static. The sport is only static and sooner or later you will want the option to spin.

I had the same dilemma back when I got my pole. I went back and forth for weeks and then decided on a 45 and very happy I did. My studio has a 50 and a 40 and I can use all three but love my 45. I went with xpole (chrome) because of my high ceilings. I have learned by researching the preference of finishes is that everyone's body is different on what works for them.

Would love to help if needed. I browse mostly on my iPad. Looking to start browsing through my smart tv since the studio I was going to just shut down (so bummed) – I need another way to learn everything so I will be signing up for lessons within the next week –

You should have a 125 pole piece too like Dwiizie stated, no?
-
too funny, you responded while I was typing with the answers to my questions.

I just talked to the US Xpole folks. She said based on your description (the pics you included) she would suggest getting a different extension. Is it safe, most likely but would feel better if you didn't have so much exposed. Her question is this – besides the 2 main poles which extensions are you using? The 250 and the 750 or the 125 and the 750 or another combination? She wants to understand the exact set up to make sure she advises correctly.
-
I also looked at my pole and the black ring is not showing. I have almost 10 foot ceilings so only got the 500mm extension and I don't show that many inches of thread.
-
So you exact measurements from floor to ceiling is 3.3 m (with carpeted floor based on pic)? I'm used to inches so just want to verify – because they will most likely ask to ensure you got the right extension…maybe I can call the US side to see if this is odd.
-
Sorry missed the middle comment in your post. I am in US and they have been very quick to help. I would probably have same questions you have if I saw same thing – just to be sure.
-
Have you called xpole? They are very helpful and should be able to address your concerns.

I am in FL and got an Xpole Xpert (10 foot ceilings) and the pole is great. No issues with it and has been very sturdy. I practice on it the days I don’t go to the studio classes and has helped.

Have you sold? My sister in the market – she was supposed to buy one today locally and they sold it after they told her she was first in line….not sure what shipping will cost so lets first see if still avail. ..Thanks!
-
I did this over 6 years ago and best money I ever spent….my sister just had her second treatment and she is already happy with the results. If you get a reputable place to do it you will be very happy!

The are an authorized dealer of x-pole, 30 dollars shipping and I’ve seen coupon codes for 5%off total purchase which brings you back down to ~250. Just an option if you can do that amount.

Last question I hope…. The place I go to has platinum stages permanent poles which are stainless steel. Only material I have ever been on and wonder since you had the chrome xpole did you like it and have you ever used the xpole SS? I know everyone has different opinions and reactions to the different materials but thought i would ask. Thx

Thx and have a great weekend!

Do you Order directly from them or another site?
-
Lol, guess I will be on the lookout for a 45mm xpole! Thx!
-
Why are you selling? Just curious – looking to purchase my first one soon and looking to get a 45mm or a 50mm chrome and still trying to determine if I want to go thru xpole….
