Ack I am so sorry MrsNaughtywed that is truly awful. I hope they are able to get to the bottom of everything. 🙁

Also for the cups there are many different folds that can be done. I personally use the two basic folds, but there are other folding options. I'd check out youtube for the folding videos.

I know on the live journal link that has been listed, there are some posters who talk about having a tilted/tipped uterus. I am sorry that the sea sponge isn't working for you Cali. I haven't tried them myself, but was always curious. As for the Instead cups, I have tried those and personally they'll work for me in a pinch. But I almost never can get them to set right, since you have to place them slightly differently than a regular menstrual cup. But who knows, it could work for you. I'd say give it a whirl.
And depending on the cup brand if we're talking regular cups and not the insteads, they're made from either medical grade silicon or T.P.E.
And yep virgins can use them 😉 LOL

Crater Lake is beautiful. I loved looking out over the rim and seeing Wizard Island. Have some beautiful pix I took eons ago. I need to visit there again. If ya'll are coming through Eugene, make sure to hit up Ninkasi and Hop Valley breweries. Good local brewed beer. Ninkasi is just a few blocks from where I live. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

This is a common thing among many in the community that aren't pole dancers/fitness people. They will be supportive of you and think it's awesome but the mere mention of it being mainstream and possibly in the Olympics, it sets them off. I do hope it will make it into the Olympics one day, but right now it's going to be a tough one to swallow for others.

MemberApril 10, 2013 at 11:53 pm in reply to: You shouldn’t go to strip clubs and heckle the strippersI enjoy going to the club and watching the girls dance and pole dance. The one I visit the girls do get up there on the pole and do tricks along with floor work. Yes I do tip, and I am not rude to the dancers and will go back with the dancers of my choice for lap dances. I haven't ever been treated rudely or had the gals act like it was an inconvenience for me to be there. Last time I was there, hubby was with me and it was really cute. Hubby would lean over and ask me what move each dancer was doing during her time on the pole so he was able to "talk shop" with them on moves. Well he goes back to get a lap dance and he's talking about how impressed he was with her doing a jade and butterfly etc. She was surprised he could even name the moves and wondered how he knew what they were. So he let the cat out of the bag that his wife was learning to pole dance and that I was here at the club. After she heard that, she had to come out and meet me. Her and I talked for a long time along with a couple of other dancers. It was a great time and even have personal friends who are dancers.

MemberMarch 26, 2013 at 12:15 pm in reply to: Should I get my 45 mm chrome x-pole powder coated?Well once you go there you aren't able to go back. So please make sure it's really what you want to do. But I did have my 50 chrome powder coated last year, along with a few others who've done it (the powder coating). I will admit grip is amazing with my pole since it's been done. Only draw back is you might leave a bit of skin when it's really warm, lol!

This is a link that discusses how the process works. You can also see pix of my pole on my page too.

It's very hard to find sports bra's or pole dance gear in my size at all. My boobs are 40G, so trying to find anything able to fit over them is impossible. None of the pole gear will fit my chest, I have slight hope in Sweet Vixen, but remains to be seen. The sports bra's I do have were bought at Target and still don't cover all of me.

YES! We love that POLE SLEEVES™ can be taken on and off without permanently affecting your pole, but if you are looking for a permanent solution with an amazing grip, http://polesleeves.com/contact-us/ for a quote on making a POLE SLEEVE™ a permanent addition to your pole.

My pc pole was named Dixie since the colour she was coated in was named "Dixie Purple". I don't have a name yet for my brass pole.
-
What do you mean by regular x-pole? Did you have an older generation of x-pole that was top loading? I have both a 50 and a 45 x-pert and they've never untwisted while using it in spin mode.

Yeah the paperwork I got with my chrome pole had and I still have them adverts for Itac 2. It's the same one you'd see in the first issue of Vertical Art &Fitness which shows Karol,Alethea and Estee. And the first issue of that mag came out in 2011…..

Interesting they changed the formula. I did notice the other day on the X-Pole site that they did not sell the version of Itac I bought when I got my first pole back in Oct 2011. It's the Itac level 4
