Day 18 #healinghearts we had a delay in bread baking today so we all took a yoga stretch break. I am thankful for the wild and weird bakers, formers, and batchers I get to be around daily. We are one big ol freak family

I am thankful for my little space heater. Blasting heat in my pole room, helping me stretch during practice and warming my pole up when it’s 28′ out. That little guy kicks ass!

Day 15 and 16. I am thankful that many of us Veeners have awesome men that assist, prop, capture, and will pretty much do anything for their fit sexy ladies! Shout out to all the fellas!

Day 14 I am thankful for my cats. Independent unconditional lovers. They share the same personality as me; whether it’s center of attention or a moody loner, yet always finding peace in the most unconventional places.

Today I am thankful for days off. Pole, yoga, movies with my love, and many many homemade apple chips.

I am thankful for my health. As a child I suffered from migraines since I was 5, heart murmur, leaky valve, and epilepsy. Aside from the migraines I have overcome many of my illnesses and ailments over the years. I have to give credit to my loving family and friends as well as physical activity and my always curious mind. I am thankful my mind, body , heart, and soul all love in a peaceful happy world in this body.

Missed yesterday but catching up today. I am thankful for our little cabin we call home. It’s not big, most times it’s not practical. Yet we have turned it into our personal “dreadydise” and our little family of 2 cats 3 chickens and a hound dog could not be happier.

Agree with you ladies this pose is a funky one. Even my bf (also my photographer) said “well that looks goofy” haha. Today I am thankful for all those around me that put up with all my idiosyncrasies and still love me.

Day 6 #healinghearts. I am thankful for pole and yoga reigniting the dancer within me. Our bodies are built to move, express, and shape who we are and what we love. Love your body and what it’s capable of, you might be surprised what it’s been waiting to do.

One of my first ever freestyles I posted I literally was curled around the pole (fetal position) crying my eyes and asking myself why??? A song came on, I got up and started dancing and reluctantly posted the vid here on SV. First of all the amount of support and encouragement that all the amazing Veeners gave me blew me away. I danced in a troupe for 10 years with girls I grew up with and never had that amount of support. So many amazing dancers/polers on here were commenting that they all have been there and to not let it get to me bc theres always next practice. Honestly even the next practices may not be great but the ladies comments on here are absolutely right, we suck one day and the next we’re friggin champions rockin the pole, floor, and flow. The one thing you have to remember is this practice does not define who you are and what you can do, this practice is just a reminder that were not machines, were humans who one day kick ass and one day get our asses kicked. The main thing is that if after that shitty practice you still have that drive and passion to try again next time then that is what defines you as a poler, dancer, and individual. On days I suck at pole I turn it into a floor day or stretch day, that seems to appease my controlling mind. 😉 Just remember we all suffer from crappy practices!

Hi stefanieM, I ordered a few pieces to see what they were like and they are great however for the area I want covered I would have to order over a dozen more squares and and my pole is in my living room so it just wouldn’t be that practical in my house. I would love to have those floors but it’s just not feasible.

No Kasanya, sorry I should of stated that in my post. I’m planning for next year…I am a very anticipatory creature. I figure I’d start putting my feelers out and see if i can find a location first before I invested anything into that comp.
