Hey,
I’ve heard that poleskivvies do an amazing pair. They prevent muffin top and camel toe! I just bought a pair through their website, they look super comfy and don;t gape in the wrong places.
I first saw them on Fleur on her youtube videos.

Hi All
I’m now free the 17th and 18th April, If you can let me know when you can make it then i’ll make sure I don’t put anything else in my diary https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
I live in North Chingford, it’s 5 mins by cab from South Woodford Central Line, or a 10 min walk from Chingford Station.
Feel free to bring poling friends, just let me have an idea of how many people to expect.

HI Glitter,
A guy I used to date had really bad acid reflux because of a muscle tear near his oesophagus, one thing he said was a ‘danger food’ was banana. It made him really sick, also alcohol is a massive issue.
You can get tablets called Omeprazole which inhibit the amount of acid produced, you have to take them every day and I believe you have to get them from the Doctors but it kept his issue under control most of the time.
Hope this helps

Hello
I’ve had two mis haps in the last year and a bit.
The first was because I chose to wear heels, I did the sun bather move and got my legs tangled up, the heel of my shoe scrpped along my shin and I now have a very long scar..it hurt like mad! That’s the first and only time I ever wore heels to dance!
I have considered getting some proper pole shoes now because those shoes were just summer stilettos and the heel was a bit sharp. I currently see a teacher about once every six weeks and I know she doesn’t encourage beginners to wear shoes because of this. She also discourages wearing jewellery such as watches, necklaces and bell button bars.
The second accident was just before Christmas, I wasn’t sticking to the pole at all, stupidly I did an invert, slipped into a wonky handstand since I only just managed to out my arms out (better than my head), that hurt my back and neck for a few weeks.
Hope this helps

Hi Omily,
I had this when I started, turns out I was grippping the pole a bit too tight when doing spins. I kept on and on though, when I took a break for a couple of weeks the numbness went away, was a little scary for a while as I couldn’t do basic, fiddley stuff like put the key into my front door or do zips on my coat up!
Also in the winter when the pole is really cold and I stick it to, that used to cause numbness, I’ve just put the heating on a bit more and that seems to get rid of it, touch wood i’ve not had it since this time last year.
Hope this helps

HI Hipshaker…of course! I need some motivation to get back on the pole so it a pole jam would be perfect.
Is anyone free on Sunday 18th April? I can do a Saturday instead if that doesn’t work?
I got back on it this morning for the first time in about 2 months, realised i’d lost the gemini! On the bright side I nearly got the TG handspring…yay me!

Hi Polephoenix,
Was thinking about late afternoon/early evening and see how it goes?
I guess it depends when everyone is free?

I don’t have enough space for another pole..at least I don’t think so. I have a stupid light on the ceiling fiting which means my current pole is in a weird place already. Can we leave it at one for now and if we figure out a way to get two in then we can do that next time?
If this one proves popular and a few more people want to come along we can always find somewhere more appropriate to hold it and maybe get a place hired and take our poles along the next time?

Hi All,
By the looks of things I am free the first weekend of March now.
If you look at my videos you can see how much space I have so everyone is more than welcome to come over. Am close to national rail directly to Liverpool and a 10 mion cab ride from central line. Alternatively I have a mini sofa bed and a big corner sofa that people are more than welcome to stay on. There’s also limited parking on the road and one visitor parking space.
If everyone is free that weekend we should definitely arrange something.
If not then let’s decide on a date that everyone is free on and i’ll make sure i’m about https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)

Echoing everyone else Camden is the place to go. I recently got a pair of Pleaser shoes for £35 – can’t go wrong!
Hi Sabrina27…Do you remember the shop name or anything or whereabouts it was?
Tnx

No worries, will do!
I’m sure we can make it a regular thing once word gets out https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
Just need to get some interest up and yell about it some more!

Hmmm…think I may have to take a trip to Camden this week, am desperate for pole shoes, i keep making my foot bleed when I inert and hold on too hard with the top.
Any one have any recommendations on how high the heel should be, I haven’t danced in shoes for a few months because I have carpet and it’s never really worked well.
I read on one of the forums on SV about putting tape on the bottom so figured i’d do that but I don’t wear heels often and I fear i’ll look like a complete muppet if the shoes are too high or too low!

Hi Audball,
If you wanna come along you’re more than welcome, if you need a sofa to crash out on I have a comfy one!
Halfjack and I are thinking maybe the last week of feb currently. Just looking at who else is around and then we can firm up some more details.
How much notice would you need?

Hi All
I’m in the UK, in London…it’s freezing and the only thing helping me to grip currently is spraying the pole with window cleaner! Even then it’s quite slippy.
The same thing happened last winter…am really hoping it’ll get less cold v v v soon as I miss my pole!
