Thank you! I really appreciate it!

I teach out of my home to people that I know, but I don't advertise to strangers. When I have someone inquire about lessons I always have a meeting with them outside of my home (in a public place like starbucks) to screen what there interests are. I am very wary when it comes down to who I will give my home info to.
Hope that helps answer some :o) xoxo

When I die I want to be reincarnated as an Australian pole dancer!

I have never had luck finding them at big box stores like Home Depot or Lowes. Call an Ace Hardware if you have them locally, most times they carry metric and this is where I go – I think they were 89 cents/piece

I personally think if you are going to spend $16 on a book, pay the extra $4 and get a month of lessons here. You will get far more for your money :o)

Have you considered Veena's lessons? If not, then you should! She has lessons for conditioning, stretching, foam rolling, beginning – advanced pole, hula hoop, and more.
Another great addition is the 30 Day Take Off – She maps out what you should be working on everyday for 30 days! If I were you, I would give the lessons a try. You will be so glad you did!

Depends on your ceiling height and if you buy things as a package vs individually.
-
A single rig point vs a double point is personal preference. For more yoga type I like the double, but for dance I like having it on a single point.

I took an aerial yoga teacher training last year and absolutely love it for myself and teaching other! Here is an idea of what you may need for the ceiling height you have.

Rebekah has some great manuals for fabric and hammock

There is also the anti-gravity route

There is also trifly

When you put your hammock together I would suggest the william ball lock petzl carabiners. They can't accidently open – http://www.campsaver.com/william-ball-lock-carabiner?gclid=CPeJn6Pcx7QCFZGPPAodHCAAXw
When you find the height from the 1st link I listed you can always purchase your fabric by the yard elsewhere, I have purchased from this aerial supplyer and have been very happy with everything – http://www.ebay.com/itm/108-wide-Dark-Green-Aerial-Silk-/230829426864?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&var=&hash=item35be8188b0

I have been in the same boat with them. My suggestion is that if 1 piece you like is in stock and is in your size/color BUY IT! Don't wait to save with the shipping. The likelihood of your bottoms and top being available at the same time is slim to none. I say that because I have had issues finding what I wanted for this ENTIRE YEAR. You can also look into these:

I would look into Tiggs! Tons of girls on SV have been super happy with their purchases from her :o)

After reading that it sounded ego-mania and I did not mean to come across that way! What I wanted to say was
"I definitely agree with Webby. Being almost 3 years into my pole journey I find myself wishing I could have had everything they NOW have available when I was on Day 1 of having my pole!
