Never heard of those before, but it looks awesome! Any kind of exercise that incorporates ballet style grace gets thumbs up from me 😀

I think it would be a great class, especially for toning and a great way to introduce flexibility!

Let me know if you get those and how you like them.  I teach similar class at my studio but I use the poles in place of the barre.  We also have a Yogi Plea' class which is yoga ballet style with actual choreographed routines.  I'm always interested in new ideas- from the videos though this looksvery similar to some of the things we're already doing- just presented differently.

I have been taking Pure Barre classes in Charlotte religiously over the past year and love it. I find that it's very complimentary to pole – it works some deep muscles and I like that they balance each muscle group out with a good stretch. It is HARD – like, muscles quivering and failing hard. You wouldn't think that it would be so intense with such delicate movements, but it is!

I had to take about 8 months off from pole after having my knee reconstructed, and Pure Barre was the only exercise I could do for some time. It's controlled movements really helped me get strong and gain confidence again, and every class is always a challenge. They play great music, too! The best part for me is that my middle has lost 2 inches since starting- and other areas have improved as well. They focus heavily on women's problem areas. Give it a try – if you have questions feel free to reach out to me via message. I would recommend taking classes in person to start until you get comfortable with the method before moving to the DVDs – just to make sure you are doing it right and getting the most out of it. Get ready to lift, tone and burn! 🙂
