MemberMay 28, 2011 at 6:01 pm in reply to: Shoes and how to keep your toes in your shoes?I kinda have the same problem with the plleasers I bought. I went ahead and got a silver and a red pair of pleasers…the band across the toes was so loose and so was the strap but the shoe fit almost perfect…until I moved and then my toes slid off the front of the shoes leaving like an inch in the back empty (not attractive at all) I ended up sending them both back and buying 2 elles…now I'm hoping for a better fit but who the heck knows! I find the plastic upper fits better cuz it's tight as all get out…but I really wanted a colored upper. (boo) I hope it all works out. I don't like seeing my toes flop around inside a shoe or hanging over the front. Is this common for some folks or do we just have weird toes? lmao!

Um ok just so everyone is clear…MIRENA is an inserted birth control method and the divacup is actually a tampon replacement but not a birthcontrol. I thought I'd mention that cuz for some reason the two ended up in the same discussion.
I've also used the MIRENA, but I experiencd horrible cramping and had to take it out. 🙁 other than that it was a dream.

Ok so it was a really big sneeze…I was in a military formation and you're not supposed to move or fidget and I was trying so hard not to so when the sneeze came out It kind burst from my body…it was a whole LOT of pressure lol..I doubt people sneeze that way every day.
-
ok so…I tried the cup several years back and I was so excited to skip the tampons and pads! But thenon one really super unfortunate day I sneezed. ….and YES I was a MESS and had to excise myself from work. I never used them again after that cuz I was afraid of having another super unfortunate event lol. Now it's pretty funny but I was mortified when I had to ask my boss to leave work becasue I had exploded all over my uniform lol!

Amcut ~ girl hardwood isn't the answer either hunny. I've got hard wood floors. I danced in heels like once and left all sorts of grooves in the floor from where my heels scraped the wood. My hubby was su upset at me. So now I have heels but I can't do anything that would cause them to drag or hit the floor. Mostly all I can do is climb and walk in a circle…totally sux! I wonder what the ideal floor would be cuz it seems nothing is really good at taking a stilleto beating….unless you have cement floors right? Boooo
so who has floors that don't scratch at all???(excluding carpet lol)

Wow interesting and LONG conversation about the TG. I used to have questions but not anymore. Thanx! 🙂

MemberMay 11, 2011 at 11:35 am in reply to: Permanent Thermal or Keratin Straightening Products?I also had a brazillian treatment on my hair. So you know I had it about a year and a half ago. I have african american hair and at the time it was chemically relaxed. So, my hair was straight but it still would completely frizz out as soon as it got humid and it took about an hour to completely blow dry and flat iron it.( Even relaxed I know ugh) Anyway, I went ahead and had the keratin treatment over my relaxer. Pros: The humidity could not TOUCH my hair. I went outside and watched all my friend's hair grow all big but mine stayed sleek. Shine, My hair shined like nobody's business. Drying time: I cut down my blowdrying time to no more than 10 min and flat ironed only the top layer of my hair.
CON: it's so expensive. It cost me $250 BURNED: the stylist burned my ends so bad that They were fried. My hair is brown but the fried ends were like orange almost. I had to have quite a bit chopped off after seeing how many split ends I had
I didn't return for another treatment because I decided to grow out my afro over the next year. But It was well worth it. I loved most things about the treatment.

I have not had the awful problem of being subjected to a full on Garden. Thank goodness. However I did take a class once where there was a young lady who insited her bum crack stick out. I kindly informed her that her bum split was showing and she actually said " what you don't think that's sexy? cuz some people do" So I was like "um not really but whatever works for ya" And I walked away. The same girl had some unkept forestry in her nether region as well. I assumed this had to be a cultural thing. meh. ( but still kinda funny to me :-))

I wear Victoria's Secret boy shorts (the cute panty ones with all the words o nteh back) I usually will wear two pairs at once or a thong under one. I did once try these stretch thin fabric panties under some walmart side tie shorts and it was a total disaster…I had to keep asking if my sugar bowl was hanging out..sooo embarassing. Lucky me it takes a LOT to embarrass yourself in this kind of culture so I was ok. Note to self…ALWAYS ALWAYS wear two pairs on panties lol I still have yet to purchase anything specifically made for pole dancing..haven't prioritized it quite yet.
And like amcut said..Please please shave every time. 🙂

I agree with the last post. I run nearly 33 miles a week at most and often I suffer shin splints if I fail to stretch my lower legs efficiently. I uaually do the downward dog and place one foot onto the heel of th other.
– sit in a chair place legs to either side of chair and press down on tops of toes
-stand and place one foot infront of you while leaning into the heel (rear calf stretch) also you an reach down and grap the toe variation
– stand and place the ball of one foot against the wall and lean into it.
these are a few stretches I do after long runs.
I have found that I avoid injury longer when I take the time to stretch well after a run—especially after!!
good luck. ciao

Be careful if you pick hardwood. Make sure you have a very durable protectant on the floor. Don't go with engineered hardwood. I have hardwood floors but they were engineered to have a very shiny surface. While the floor looks beautiful the surface of the floor causes a lot of friction and so barefooted it's like hell doing a turn. ANother problem I have is that I cannot wear heels because the heels dig into the floor. I've actually left gouges in the floor and had to quickly stop using them. (booooooo) so make sure the wood you choose is in a very durable surface..heck I'd take my shoes to the gallery and rub them on the sample cuz I'm ghetto like that lol!

Um, I don't really have that problem anymore sadly he is in afghanistan soooo he really can't watch anymore. Now my biggest issue is keeping my daughter off while I practice lol, I just try to do it on days when I don't have homework and my daughter is napping. Needless to say I hardly ever practice. Thanks so much for all of your coments, suggestions, and ancidotes. I love that you all have taken the time to post.
