All of the shoes found at BadKitty.com are Pleaser Shoes. The most popular ones are the Adores.

We have had a great response to our Brazils Shorts ($20) and our Fold Over Pole Shorts ($28).  Both are afforadable and help to keep everything covered that needs to be.

    JeHanne,

A good way to get what you are looking for it to layer… Alot of our girls live by the Brazil shorts but sometimes want a little more bling… they want to stand out but remain confident in the costume. Check out pieces like the Beaded Fringe Belt (http://badkittyexoticwear.com/shop/beadedfringebelt-p-1363.html)  or take a peek at some of our body art… (http://badkittyexoticwear.com/shop/makeupbodyart-c-142.html) … you can get a costume look with out the need for the costume.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Doing it for yourself is the best! You dont need a competition or show to create this beautiful piece of art that is currently wrapped up in your head! And yes, the movie did get terrible reviews but i was caught up in all the costumes, glitter and fans! So for me it was amazing! Good luck girl!

Corby… good point, she is a lil peanut, but an adorable peanut at that. 30×54… WOW! Please make sure to share the video on that routine. I think those are the same size that Christina Aug. used in the movie Burlesque. xoxo

Hi Corby, Your right fans are expensive! Karol Helms costume in the Fashion Exhibition used some beautiful black ostrich fans with bamboo shafts. They were 18 x 34, which was a great size. Here is the video so that you can see them on stage. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3girbW_xorA

Originally we wanted to do the 24×48" fans, but they were a little too big to manuver.

Here is one called The Pole Story written by Claire Sterret.

"Pole dancing is revolutionizing the way in which women relate to sex and their bodies. It has empowered many women through physical fitness and sensual movement. And yet the psychology behind this empowerment has not really been well defined or well understood by many people. This book is the first of its kind to capture and explore these issues. It has the potential to encourage people to examine their prejudices about pole dancing and female sexuality, and to cast the art of pole dancing in an entirely new light."

@PolePrincess… I think the only company you can go through for that is Platinum Stages. Im pretty confident that they own the "Got Pole" trademark.

Peaches, you should get a hold of Claire Sterret, the author of The Pole Story. The entire book is short stories about exactly what you are looking for.

Fashion Tape is somewhat a tricky little animal. Most of the time it is made more for cowl neck dresses and tops, not so much on the sports or performance side. Keep in mind that all fabric is different, tape will always stick better to a cotton based material with out a sheen than it will on a  lycra or spandex. It is a trial and error!

Hi Sandy, I have attached a link to the most popular shoe for Pole Dancing here at Bad Kitty. And here are a few things to keep in mind:

    * If you are going for your first 5-6" heel, make sure there is a good sized platform. This way the arch is not so bad.

    * Ankle Strap – A MUST! I have seen more shoes fly off, kinda funny but a little dangerous!

Im sure the girls here can also list a TON of other suggestions too….

If you are going to do  white make sure that the fabric is more cotton than nylon or spandex. It is these 2 types of fabrics that make it stretchable, but also see through. You could also go with a real Swim Wear bottom. These would have a separate lining and would provide more coverage.

White is a hard one 🙂

@https://www.studioveena.com/users/view/4d7295fc-e184-48a5-841e-6aac0ac37250.. currently we can not offer shoes internationally because the shipping costs are so ridiculously high. We can not ship them normally (USPS) because the tracking information will not update until the countries receiving customs office had received the package. This can take between 6-12 business days, so it makes alot of people nervous. We have spoken with UPS about shipping these shoes, but again the cost at times is just as much as the shoes that are ordered. The apparel is easy, little and quick. The shoes are bulky, weight 4-5 pounds and need a little more love and attention.

Once the new site is up and running i will post a new link here for you. 🙂
