And yes, 7 year olds call it as they see it! Next thing I know, people will be thinking I’m a volunteer firefighter or something!! -
Do you kind of press it up while sliding it to set it up? I’ve never owned ANY pole yet. So I’m clueless.
-
I did see that but it didn’t specify one piece pole or multi. Unless I’m having a moment and missing something! Wouldn’t put it past me today.

Is the pole all one piece?

MemberFebruary 6, 2014 at 11:17 pm in reply to: HELP – The Platinum Stage V4.0 – Not the SSA!It sounds easier to deal with than a mount for a vaulted ceiling. And I rent. And I don’t wanna see the look on my Dad’s face when I ask him to help me install it. LoL

MemberFebruary 6, 2014 at 11:02 pm in reply to: HELP – The Platinum Stage V4.0 – Not the SSA!I just wonder how complicated it is to remove just the pole and keep the stage intact? My six year old already thinks she’s a rockstar, so she can think it’s JUST A STAGE for her. And put the pole up when she’s away at her Dad’s and I have the time to practice.

I think it would be a great idea.

-
Waiting to hear replies too.

I bet my ceilings go all the way up to 20 feet at the highest point. I’d have to measure where they start at.
-
Thanks! Maybe I should go with the Lil mynx then?
-
I would GLADLY save the money and get a pole for vaulted ceilings! Problem is that I rent. How can I keep from damaging the ceiling? And isn’t the mount on the ceiling even when you take the pole down? Surely any company is going to notice it and ask what is it?

Another advantage of the Star Stand Alone is the ability to quickly lift the pole out of the base. I have an almost 7-year-old. I’d like to pole but without her going to school telling everyone about Mommy’s pole! Her father and I share her 50/50. So the days I have her will be treadmill days and I will pole when she isn’t with me. I could pull the pole from the base and move it to the garage or closet. And she can just use the base as her “stage”, as all she does is walk around the house singing! I’ll just leave the base set up in the living room all the time unless I expect company. Here’s a question… How do you other Mom’s handle poling around your children?
-
**sway** as much.
-
Thanks for the replies! I must say, I have always preferred the look of the Star Stand Alone. But there always seems to be better reviews towards the X-stage Lite. And from videos, the x-stage pole seems like it doesn’t away as much?

MemberJanuary 29, 2014 at 3:06 pm in reply to: Announcing the 1st pole dance classes in central Illinois!I’m in Central IL. I couldn’t make routine classes but plan to pole at home. Does anyone know if there is any such thing like personal training sessions with poling? Where I could set up an appointment, travel an hour or so, learn a trick or two, and return home to work on it more? And then set up another session at my leisure later?

I’m interested? Depending on where you are?
