I know what you mean dust bunny, us sweaters have to pace ourselves and stop focusing on it holding us back but throw ourselves in to floor work etc. which is something I definitely need to do. I’m more of a poker who is in to it for the moves and combos.. Dancing? I’m laughable lol thanks girls for all your feedback I really thought in as the only one who was this bad, in the studio I go to my instructor said I’m the biggest sweater she’s ever seen but she pointed out that even though I sweat so much iv learned to stay on the pole to a certain extent which she says is brilliant. Just so happy there are others like me lol

I know katana it’s really doing my head in, I’m so strong on the pole but it means nothing when your sweatiness is holding you back! Have you ever entered any competitions? I’m de to enter one in just over a month and I’m terrified ill blow it because of this. And to be honest, even when I use gloves my hands sweat inside the gloves, so the gloves are sticking to the pole but my hands inside are slipping everywhere! I’ve never actually covered the pole in grip so ill try that too.

Yes and unfortunately I have a chrome finish xpert. I’m definitely going to indulge in a new pole maybe for Xmas, a brass one. Thanks for tips 🙂

That’s so silly like honestly what is the problem with you poling. I really still think its the whole stigma that comes with pole. But I agree maybe a letter from a parent to say they are happy with you to join a class. What is the reason they give you why they can’t let you in their class?

Yeah me too, I think it happens us all at some stage. Just keep practicing and it’ll get more consistent! My Scorpio has randomly decided to do that since last week even though iv been fine with it for a year lol

Reading this post my heart is racing!! I’m entering the Irish pole princess Competition now in just under two months. I am so excited and nervous at the same time it’s my first time!! The most fun part for me is picking a theme that’s really out there… Superwoman… Batwoman.. Any things possible in the world of pole!!

I feel your pain lol I got
    My
Extended butterfly almost 5 months after poling and ever since, I thought the aysha would be easy….. No it’s not. It’s the most horrible move iv ever tried haha. In my opinion it’s balancing your hips which is the hard part, I haven’t got
It yet either but someday I will 😡
